We had an unbelievably horrible experience trying to close on a piece of property. Time after time, there was an excuse from the paralegal in Jasper about why she couldn't get the documents to the seller. Time after time, things got lost or misplaced. We probably called10 times trying to straighten things out. Each time we called, she said she was "about to call us." If we had not stayed on top of this transaction, we are convinced we would NEVER have closed. The seller had so little confidence in the attorney that he finally drove from South Florida to pick up the check because it had never been sent out to him, over a week after our signing closing documents and over two weeks after having transferred money to the attorney. Don't put yourself through this. Find another attorney.
