It was over 10 years ago, he kept me from taking a bad deal that would still effect me today when I was innocent. I found him by searching cases for hours with positive outcomes on the Court website. Was real about the overpriced lawyer I had already retained and the situation I was in. Spent several hours talking about my case with me. I had the highest rated lawyer in Gwinnett at the time and he seemed to know way more than she did. I pushed my lawyer for a continuance that I wouldn’t have done otherwise when she was saying I had to eat the charges. He’s who to go to when you really need help.

I made corrections will like to use this review please . . You should feel like your attorney is on your side and fighting to make sure your rights are protected. When you need an attorney, the chances are good that it is a difficult time in your life, and the last thing you need is to feel like you have to fight with your legal counsel to get the representation you deserve. I end up hiring another attorney with very successful outcome with all charges dismissed.

We were given Mr. Lewis’ name by our lawyer, B.W., who no longer practices in the public arena- he was elected into a prominent position. It means a lot to us that our longtime lawyer would hand us over to him.

It's been a few years, but the pain is still there. We hired Attorney Lawrence Lewis after he approached us in the parking lot of the Gwinnett County Court House. He made many promises before we could decide if we were going to hire him. He was very talkative and he had his assistant with him at the time? We were overwhelmed because we had never had to hire an attorney before. He made it clear what his charges would be and that impressed us because we didn't want or need any surprises. Our case was a civil case and we had no idea that his specialty was Homicide. We gave him $1800.00 and he said that he would call us when the judge set a date for the hearing. After about three weeks we did not hear from him, so we called his office and was told that he was working on the case and his office would keep us posted. We went out of town for a few days and when we came back, I was arrested for not showing up to court. We made sure that he had our cell phone & home telephone numbers. We also had our son to check the mail while we were gone. The Judge took out a warrant for my arrest. I spend three days painful days in the Gwinnett County Jail. My family had me bailed out and we had to pay the Courts over $5,000.00 because Atty. Lewis did not inform me of the court date and we lost the case. He did not show up himself! He said that the reason why he did not show up was because he was afraid of the plaintiff's Attorney? We asked him was it so that the other Attorney was his friend and he did not answer. We had seen the two together once and they seem to have been in a jovial mood. We asked him to give us our money back and then he started a, 'Catch me if you can' game. We send him certified registered mail on three different occasions and each time his office would not accept the mail. We spoke to his secretary and she said, prove that you gave him $1800.00. She had forgotten that we demanded a written receipt after he said that he only accepted cash. When we showed her the receipt she said, "We still are not giving you the money back!" We reported him to the Georgia Bar Association and they did not get back with us after several letters and phone calls. In the meantime, I became very ill and was unable to work or care for myself. I thank God for my loving family. That horrible experience somehow slipped through the cracks and Attorney Lawrence Lewis never refunded us our hard earned money, he never apologized to us and he never answered any of our phone calls or letters. We took the loss and we cried together. We also asked God to give us the strength to move forward in our lives, and we did, but we will be forever pained by the Actions, or should I say the non-actions of Lawrence Lewis. He is not a God-fearing man, but he is a Liar, Liar...

Hired him to represent me in a TPO hearing. He was arrogant and primarily focused on billable hours. Talked a good game but in my opinion his defense was inadequate at best.

My next door neighbor took out a temporary protection order on me. She said I was stalking,verbally abusing,threatening to kill her,as well as hit her vehicle with my car. She had two family witnesses along with a neighbor who lives across the street as a witness. My lawyer Mr. Lawrence Lewis was so amazing! He discredited the plaintiff and "ALL" the witnesses and used their own words against them. He was "Awsome"!! I never had to say a word...i never had to take the stand...he represented me thoroughly and I will hire him again if I need a lawyer in the future. This man goes hard at the opposition. If Lawrence Lewis is representing you...relax your mind cause you've already won!!
