The support staff at the office was wonderful, but let's face it, one retains an attorney for the attorney's services, not the staff. Our family's experience was dismal. Attorney Coates performed at the level of a first-year law student. For our retainer and then some, we got the equivalent of a glorified paralegal. Not that there's anything wrong with paralegals, but we paid to be represented by an attorney in a custody case. While her motions were mostly filed in a timely manner, she completely abdicated her duties when it came to representing our family in court. She barely opened her mouth, and did not even attempt to present the mountains of evidence she had us supply. Had she put up a valiant effort, I of course would still be upset that the outcome was not in our favor, but I wouldn't be left with the feeling of being royally worked over, without a kiss afterwards or dinner beforehand. Update: I'm amending my review and increasing my stars because surprisingly the firm reached out to my son with contrition. We were informed of the top to bottom changes that the law firm has undergone. While this doesn't change what happened to my son several years ago, he and I are both fair people. We don't believe in penalizing the firm's new attorneys and staff for what someone else (who has long been terminated) has done. From what I've ascertained, this firm has improved its game and increased its concern for clients. That's all anyone can ask for, an attorney that will fight for his/her clients.

I rated our experience with 5 stars. Not because the outcome was the best possible outcome, but because of the entire experience from start to finish. My wife and I were facing a criminal charge that we were shocked at even being charged with. Shocked or not, it was a felony charge and something to be taken very seriously. Through recommendations, we called several law firms trying to decide who should represent us. Most of the firms we met with seemed more interested in how much money we had and when we could get them their money. Tyler Moore showed a sincere interest and concern in our situation. He explained to us what we were facing and all of our options. After hiring him, he explained to us what was going on and what to expect next. As mentioned earlier, we had the best possible outcome. The case was dismissed and the arrest removed from the record. We realise this is a rather long review, but we hope you're still reading, because there is one more thing that we really think you should know. When we were done, because Tyler Moore is a criminal defense attorney, I almost told him that we hope we never meet him again. I didn't because we would like to consider Tyler as a friend who just happens to be a very good criminal defense attorney.

This was my first experience with Daniels & Taylor and I want to say they were so helpful. Katie one of the Paralegals and Tyler one of the lawyers were so helpful. They were able to assist me with some matters that I didn't even realize I needed. They were just great. I highly recommend the firm. They cover so many issues. I had several documents drawn up. I contacted this office for help in step-parent adoption. We decided to move forth with my husband adopting my son from a previous relationship. Everyone in this office was an absolute pleasure to work with from the receptionist answering calls to Christine Scartz and her paralegal Jennifer. They walked us through the entire process step by step and treated us as a friend rather than just a client paying their fees. Very personable and friendly as well as honest and upfront! We are happy to say the adoption was granted by a judge on September 8, 2014! It was not a quick process but well worth the time involved!

Staff in front office is great, I worked with Mark Hill on all my cases and he was the man! When I first walked in and meet him, you could tell he was gonna be a pleasure to work with.
