Great Experienced, Knowledgable, Honest, Understanding, Empathic, and Compassionate Lawyer! I highly recommend Ms. Sturges to anyone looking for a family attorney. I have known Ms. Sturges since 2013 and this review is well over due. Ms. Sturges has represented me in 2 different family cases. Ms. Sturges has helped me win both of my cases by being well prepared and staying professional at moments of pressure. Ms. Sturges has also helped me become a better person by keeping me accountable. Ms. Sturges continues to help and assist me in attempted contempt cases and motion filings. The difference about Ms. Sturges is, she puts herself into the center of your families challenges and becomes apart of your family.

As others have stated, Lynn was largely unavailable during my case.. For my fee, Lynn simply filed the correct documents required to get things started. From that point on there was 0 communication, impossible to get through via the phone accept to her secretary. Called daily and left multiple messages, but nothing.. I basically saw her two times I believe, to give her my money, tell her about my case and then as mentioned she did the paperwork and filed it with the courts. Between then and the day of my case, NO communication whatsoever. I had no idea what to expect going into court and felt very unprepared. Even after my case was settled, it took over a month of constant phone calls and leaving many messages to have her complete the necessary final paperwork. She only called me back after I told her I would leave a bad review. I have since been back to court two times related to this same case, but simply used what I learned on my own and won both times by myself. I did not even consider calling her to represent me again. This was several years ago when she represented me. I am writing this review now because she still does the exact same thing! I have been calling her office and leaving messages for about 2 weeks now as I need an original copy of something which was filed in her office l. So easy to search for it and or give me a simple phone call back right? Nope! Once again not a single returned call.. Funny though, I called and used a fake name several times on different occasions to see what would happen, guess what? She was available right away. Hmm, Very odd. Do yourself a favor, do your research, read these reviews, and search for a different lawyer... By the way, her response to this review is completely inaccurate. Per my review, the biggest complaint is her unavailability and lack of following up with the proper paperwork which is necessary in order to get the court orders applied and in effect! As for her comment about the court ordering exactly what we requested, I stated the fact that I went back to court twice with the same issue representing myself both times and the court ordered exactly what I requested. As far as her assistant, we played phone tag for about 2 weeks. I left many messages for Lynn to call me, to which there was never any response. It is true that her secretary left an email, but it was strictly an attempt to have mary remove this review. The only thing perplexing about this situation, is the fact that I had to make so many attempts after the court date just to have one simple letter written to resolve my case :(

I was referred to Lynn Sturges by a neighbor who had great experience. I called and set up a consultation with her and immediately felt comfortable and confident about the road ahead of me. Lynn handled my divorce, several contempt hearings and continues to represent me. She is very reasonable and does her job well. Whenever I have to go to court I feel good about the outcome. We always discuss options, and she is genuinely concerned about my children’s best interest and mine. Going through situations like these are not easy but she makes sure we are not making emotional decisions. She goes out of her way to assist me and is overall a great attorney. I appreciate her service.

Ms. LaGrone was wonderful! My son and I was involved in a car accident, still nervous I wasn't sure who to call. An associate of mine suggested I call LaGrone Law, so I did. From the beginning I felt comfortable speaking with Ms. Lagrone. She basically held my hand and walked me through the entire process. Even though my case wasn't huge I felt Ms. LaGrone still fought long and hard and I was satisfied with the end results. She even checked in on us after the settlement to see how we were doing. Hopefully I'll never be involved in another accident again, but if I am I definitely know who I'm calling.

I was in a car accident and reached out to LaGrone Law. I was very fortunate to be assigned to Melaney LaGrone. I was very nervous and naïve about the process. Melaney made sure that I understood the entire process and answered all of my questions. Whenever I reached out to her, she responded promptly and made sure that I knew where the case currently was in the process. She always kept me informed of any and all changes as they occurred. While I liked Ms Sturges personally (she's pleasant, kind, positive), I did not like the way she handled my case. I was in an uncontested divorce and she took almost two years to settle. While she drug her feet, never answering my phone calls or emails, my ex took money and property from me that I was not able to get back and created debt in my name. When I signed the final paperwork she told me that she would send me a copy in a week or two after the judge signed off. A month later (she never contacted me and would not return my calls) I finally got in touch with her secretary and found out that the paperwork was never submitted to the judge and I still was not legally divorced. It took another three months. Also because she did nothing to help facilitate a meeting of the minds in our divorce, we had to hire an outside mediator and pay them to actually get anything done. I would've changed to a different attorney except I know that she would have not given me my retainer back. I was very disappointed throughout the process and she did not live up to the expectations that she set at our first meeting. She's nice but I had a horrible experience.
