I have used Attorney Starkey on several occasions dating back to 1998. In 1998 I had a creditor relentlessly harassing me at my employment and home. I called Attorney Starkey and explained to him what I was experiencing with this creditor. He gave me step by step directions on what to do. He asked me to trust him and he will stop the creditor's harassment. Not only did he stop the harassments, but he also was able to get the creditor to award me money ($10,000).
In 2004, I also used Attorney Starkey on a business matter in which I needed documents drawn up to protect me in my business. Attorney Starkey understood exactly what I needed and had the papers delivered to my business promptly. I currently used this document today when new employees comes on board.
In 2010 at 10:00 p.m., I called Attorney Starkey regarding a car accident that my daughter had that evening. Attorney Starkey arrived at the accident 25 minutes after I called him. Mr. stayed at the accident while I went to the hospital to see about my daughter. Attorney Starkey then came to the hospital and stayed and made sure My family was good. He stayed with the case until it was resolved.
I can not explain the countless times I have used Attorney Starkey. I have always been extremely satisfied with his professionalism, honestly, work ethic, and his particular attention to detail. I will recommend Attorney Starkey without any hesitation.

I hired Mr. Starkey due to a matter involving possible violations of laws protecting consumer interactions with Collection Agencies. I had recently moved out of an apartment to purchase a home and the apartment complex management stated I violated my lease agreement.I had a clause clearly stated in my lease that stated lease could only be broken due to home purchase. I tried unsuccessfully to resolve the matter with the Apartment management. I was wrongfully charged for the remainder of my lease term and when I refused to pay the proposed amount it was sent to collections. In addition to sending account to collections, the outstanding balance was reported on my credit report. when I was contacted by the Collection agency I told them my story and again tried to resolve the matter. The Collection agency stated the Apartment complex had done everything correctly and the debt owed was valid. Over the next 3-6 months the Collection agency aggressively tried to collect on the outstanding debt. I subsequently contacted Mr. Starkey to review the problems with both the Apartment Complex and Collection Agency. Mr. Starkey thoroughly reviewed my case in a professional manner. He set a stretegic plan to get the matter resolved, the debt removed from my credit report and identify all potential violations by Collection agency. Mr. Starkey interviewed all involved parties, completed depositions and submitted violation findings to the Collection Agency. He also submitted to them the terms needed to resolve matter without the need to go to court. The Collection Agency refused to agree to terms to resolve matter. Mr. Starkey prepared a strong case against the Collection Agency and advised me it would be best to proceed to court in this matter. The day prior to my court date, the attorney representing the Collection Agency contacted Mr. Starkey and advised his client would to settle matter and agreed to all terms requested for resolution. Mr. Starkey had debt removed from my credit report, had line item from Collection account removed and had Collection Agency pay the maximum fines for each of the multiple violations he identified within the Fair Debt Collections Practice Act. His representation of my case was Professional, Timely, Effective and Efficient. I would recommend Mr. Starkey to anyone who needs a lawyer that will always go the extra mile to protect your interest and get true JUSTICE in your case.

I started working with Mr. Starkey on a case concerning wrongful termination and employment benefits in 2008. In the beginning, Mr. Starkey appeared to be professional and knowledgeable. It was expected that this case would take time but as months and months passed, I was hearing less and less from my attorney. There were several occasions where I asked Mr. Starkey had he had any contact with the defendants, and almost each time, he advised me that he had not. Being that the case dealt with allegations of my former employer forging documents in my name, I was advised to obtain a handwriting expert. I paid 1000.00 for the expert, but never heard from or talked to the expert. Mr. Starkey even refused to deliver my receipt for the handwriting expert's services.
After many months that eventually turned into years, I started to become extremely concerned. I would call and email Mr. Starkey, but never heard back.
Finally, after paying Mr. Starkey over 5000.00 up front and an additional 1000.00 for the expert, Mr. Starkey finally informed me that my case was dismissed and to appeal, I would need to pay him, up front, the sum of 7400.00 PLUS 450.00 to the courts.
I reviewed my dismissal papers and it turned out that my case was dismissed solely because Mr. Starkey missed EVERY, single deadline to turn in the information and documents the courts requested. After seeing this, I contacted Mr. Starkey ad he could offer no explanation. He simply advised that I not appeal.
Refusing to claim defeat, I continuously requested all of my documents pertaining to the case. After several empty promises to send them, Mr. Starkey eventually ignored my constant requests. In the end, I am out of not only my employment, but 6000.00 and nothing to show for it. I got not one result and Mr. Starkey dismissed me just as the courts did my case as a result of his negligence to simply turn in requested documents. This has not only been an extremely painful experience, but I was disappointed by the very person I trusted to see to it that my former employer take responsibility for their wrongdoing. Consequently, I do not recommend Mr. Starkey as an attorney.
