The Manely Firm is a great and hard working firm. Knowledgeable and very professional.

Unfortunately my spouse filed for divorce without telling me and leading me to believe everything was ok. I received a letter from The Manely Firm informing me that my spouse had filed and that I probably did not know about it. Eventhough I had already found a lawyer (I suspected something was up) I REALLY APPRECIATE that the law firm contacted me. It allowed me to be prepared for the divorce filing and take steps to protect myself. Had I not been told by the Manely Firm I would have been ambushed with the filings. I don't plan on ever getting married again, but if I need legal services in the future I will definitely call The Manely Firm. If they did this for me and I'm not a client, then I got to believe they go even further for their clients.

My case never started charge us more than thousand dollar for termination of case. Just wanted to leave review so I can save some else money . Not even refunding my retainer money .

Slimeballs who troll recent filings so they can send junk mail to parties before they've even been served. There's a certain level of professionalism expected of GA attorneys; The Manely Firm falls far short. I've been actively discouraging people from using them.

Avoid like the plague. I never felt like my case was made a priority. Attorneys lack knowledge of the laws and communication skills needed to keep a case moving forward. I was life unsatisfied with my experience, have little to no confidence, and would not trust this firm again. My attorney drug out my case to get continued payments longer. They give you a breakdown of your billing with dates and times every 2 weeks. Religiously my case was ignored until 3-4 days before the billing cycle ended, and then I was met with requests for various other documents, signatures, etc. which would stretch the process into the next billing cycle. Often times I was left reaching out asking for updates or what the next steps would be so that I could get ahead and streamline the process, but inevitably I would be left for days without timely email responses and met with additional requests right before my billing cycle ended. The attorneys don't know the laws/processes that are in place for Cobb County even though they are literally a block behind the courthouse. I had to do my own research about the co-parenting seminar that is required for ALL cases involving custody of a minor and inform the attorney myself. They were "unsure if the judge was going to require it in this case" but the coordinator for the seminar (Megan Hill) confirmed that it's a requirement. Even after I had to figure that out on my own and inform my attorney, I still got charged by Diedre Reagan (paralegal), Katie Ruhl-Paul (case attorney), and Billy King (managing attorney), for them to have a group conversation about this part of the process. Billy King oh so graciously cleared about $23 worth of charges off of my bill cycle to make up for this. That's the epitome of an empty gesture. Do your own research, but I would never recommend this firm.

Luke Tobis helped me through the most stressful time of my life by fighting for me using his strong knowledge of the legal system and by using logic and empathy to help calm my fears. He also worked hard to save me my time and money and gave me realistic expectations of every step of the process. I strongly recommend him and this firm.

Michael and Staff have been there whenever I have needed them for anything even after the fact and their service was over...They have treated us like family and the experience has been amazing with my case!..I call them the Pura Vida Firm!

Shysters. Swindlers of the poor and emotionally destitute. If there were a way to give them ZERO stars, I would. They make all kinds of promises up front, spend your first two installments of $5,000 ($10,000) within the first two weeks, and, when you go to give them your last $5k to continue to "protect," you, and you have to tell them you're out of money and can no longer afford them, they attempt to us every penny of your last $5k in a "trust," which they will not release until 2 months have passed, not from the time you "fire" them, but from the time they Finnish doing work on your behalf. Nightmare experience with them. Worst off, ALL they have to show me, after that first & $10,000 is a letter they wrote on my behalf, that didn't stand up in the court of law, either! I could go on and on, like, when you look very closely at your itemized bill, they charge you $12.50 for every time something is filed (not in a court of law) in a filing cabinet, or even via email. But I won't. I've wasted enough time on this, in the hope that no other potential client will be SWINDLED, like I was. It's people like these, namely Billy King, managing broker, that, like I told in that last email, make lawyers look like they do: wolves in sheep's clothing. *watch them try and sue me, for defamation/slander, as a result of this review.*
