Such an ineffective lawyer. He was completely out of his element at the school hearing for my son. I could have done a better job at arguing the case. As you can imagine, we lost. Just a complete waste of money. Not to mention that he changed the terms of our agreement from a retainer to a flat fee so he could keep all the money knowing that it is not worth paying to fight it. DO NOT USE THIS LAWYER!!!!!!

Miss. Hinson was my public defender in a juvenile court case she was good. I recently called her office about possibly taking my custody case and her paralegal Kirsten was very rude. First she said Miss. Hinson was not taking anymore custody cases and offered me another lawyer. I politely said no thank you and was in the middle of telling her I was only interested in Miss. Hinson because she already knew my case. Kirsten her paralegal rudely cut me off and said Miss.Hinson is not interested in taking your case and hung up on me.

DO NOT HIRE! He was paid $5k+ to represent my son & promised him he would on do a year & a half of a 3 year sentence..my son is currently in his 3rd year @ Smith's TC..on a separate case for another family related client, he was paid $5850 in which he promised a plea bargain & to get 6 weeks awaiting a court date counted, HE DID NOT! He got plea negotiation but time served was not counted! Half the job deserves half the fee! I never received a call back after leaving numerous messages with his office..I had to get in my car & drive to Milledgeville from Gray, Ga only to hear excuse after excuse..I paid him in advance for his services only to get shafted in court..my advice to anyone who hires him anyway, DO NOT PAY HIM UNTIL HE MAKES GOOD ON HIS WORD! I am currently filing a fee dispute & a formal complaint with the State State Bar Association of Georgia in Atlanta..$11k+ for two cases deserves a call back no matter what the individual's case involved..makes a person wonder who the real criminal is here!
