Andrea Coleman (lawyer) has a very condescending attitude towards you so please have some sort of legal knowledge so you're not mishandled. She is very rude, easily frustrated, and was really no guiding light in my case. I'll rather save money for a lawyer and be treated with better care than deal with Ms. Coleman again.

Trying to find rental assistance. Not sure what is going on

The assistance is horrible. You have to be homeless, Poor, down and out in order to get any appropriate help when you need it. This is a shame that they want more homeless people in the world. These are government funded buildings, and there is no way that this is fair we pay taxes just to be treated and the upmost disrespect. You can’t get any answers on the phone lines, and when you do get answers on the phone lines, no one is going to help they are just going to hang up on you and tell you that they can’t do anything for you. Something has to change and be done better with legal aid, especially in the more predominantly black areas.

They are not helping people like they used to do

Organization is full of very disrespectful people. If you are in need of help, I would not suggest these people to start with. Good luck.

I went in the office on 777 Cleveland ave and the female receptionist at the front desk was super rude. I’m in the midst of a legitimation process and was told I don’t qualify because I don’t have custody of two of my three children and making 17.50 is too much. I explained I’m still required to financially support all of my children but that doesn’t matter, if I could give zero stars I would.
