We hired Allison when we first moved to GA since we heard so many great things about her. We wanted to have someone help us navigate a new school system and make sure our daughter rec’d all the services she needed. Allison was there every step of the way and answered all of our questions. She has a vast amount of knowledge for special needs kiddos and the school system. She helped us tremendously. I can’t Thank her enough. And she still takes the time to answer any questions we may have. She cares about her clients and it shows!! I’m happy to know that she is there for us always.

We’ve had Allison by our side at our IEP meetings for the past four years. She is a tremendous asset for our family. She brings a professional and friendly tone to the table and looks through data thoroughly. While she has a friendly demeanor, she is not afraid to play hardball and demand answers on discrepancies. Our daughter has come a long way through Allison’s guidance and for that, we appreciate her very much. She is there whenever we have a concern, either talking is through it or showing up to the meeting at our request. I will always recommend Allison to anyone needing a special ed attorney. She is wonderful!

Our son’s private tutor regularly attends IEP meetings for students with Language Based Learning differences, and indicated that she had never attended a meeting as collaborative and positive in tone as our meeting led by Allison Vrolijk. We struggled for many years to get an IEP for my son until we hired Allison. I keep her on retainer because I never want to attend another meeting without her knowledge and support. She is always willing to phone conference with me, and strives to avoid unnecessary meetings to avoid charging me when she can advise me of what to do over the phone.

We hired Allison to represent my daughter in elementary school. Allison has an excellent working relationship with the schools and can peacefully get things done. She is also extremely knowledgeable about the specifics of the test scores on neuropsychological and psych-ed testing. Allison can review these scores and find areas where the school has not adequately served the child. While Allison is known for a peaceful resolution, don't let that fool you into thinking she is a mouse. She very directly called out false data the school provided in regards to my daughter's grades. Additionally, she noted the school was ignoring one of her neuropsych scores that required speech intervention. I highly recommend Allison based on our experience with her.

Allison has long been one of the go-to attorneys in this area for parents who are seeking help ensuring their special needs child receives an appropriate public education. Her reputation as an honest, knowledgeable, caring attorney is well deserved. Allison Vrolijk was an absolute God send during my struggles with a local school, and their failure to follow the IEP. Her efforts assisted me with a placement in a school that offered my grandson assistance in daily living skills. Thanks so much Allison for all that you do to help kids in need.

Allison B. Vrolijk is so helpful. She offers advice and keeps parents (who follow her Facebook page) on our toes by quizzing us with situational "What would you do?" narratives. I've never had the occasion to hire her, but would not hesitate to dos so, based on her willingness to help people through social media and emails. Shes answered many questions that I have asked her. I appreciate Allison. I've also hear her speak at special needs parent support groups and I learned a great deal from her there, too.

We hired Allison to represent our son in his IEP meeting, and for proper placement in Special Education in the Cobb County School District. She was his attorney for 5 months spanning a complicated placement situation with mid-school-year movement between elementary school and middle school. She got the desired results for us, and we were advised by county personnel that what she accomplished had "never been done before" in the history of the county. She was extremely knowledgeable of all the appropriate laws and county procedures. Allison was always professional, prepared, and thorough in her communication with us and in all IEP meetings. These contentious meetings were with approximately 20 school/county representatives, and legal representation by the county as well. She raised all the appropriate questions and worked behind the scenes to advocate for our son for the most efficient meetings and the best outcome. We could never have had the success we needed, and that he was entitled to, in our son's placement without her. She is the best of the best. You can absolutely trust her to know the laws and get you the best placement and outcome for your child as well.
