Ms. Brenner is a sexist peace of work. She did not work for me she worked for the opposing party completely dooming my custody hearing. She refused to file any of my evidence claiming it wasn’t good enough. Refused to get back to any of my messages and talk to me like I was a little boy, because of her I only get to see my daughter twice a year. I have already filed complaints against her and I encourage any man seeking lawful attendance not go anywhere near this firm or this one she is a disgrace to the license.

I hired Emily Brenner to handle a contested divorce matter for me. Emily is an amazing divorce attorney and I am so thankful I had her on my side.

Emily is a phenomenal attorney. She handled my child custody case beautifully. The staff communicates clearly and in a timely manner. I highly recommend Emily Brenner.

Her firm filled out paperwork wrong, told me she filed the paperwork in February but really didn’t until April. She didn’t respond to a 15 day letter from yeh courts. I had to call my self and go down and fix her mistakes my self and pay for it. She didn’t answer any of my questions and wouldn’t respond to my emails. It took 2 months to get any answers. I had to fire her. So if you don’t like dropping money on someone who doesn’t pay attention to your case and is to busy for your then avoid hiring her. Her paralegal is also very unprofessional as well.

I hired Emily for interstate custodial interference and contempt. Emily seemed initially supportive and empathetic and accepted my case. After sending the required documentation she just stalled. She kept requesting I add following contempt evidence but never filed any action. I sent her a copy of GA bar rules against such stalling and she quickly responded she wasn’t, courts were on a holding pattern, she’d check back in. She even asked about filing an additional stalking protective order as the other party had escalated to such behavior. I said yes. She did not, so I asked for tangible work efforts for my review or my money back. After 9 months she could provide nothing tangible and apologetically refunded the retainer. No referral to another attorney, no explanation why no actual work was done. Rhetoric is powerful and this woman is a master in civil manipulation and exploitation. I am now seeking personal injury charges for her negligence and had to find new veteran friendly attorney for the case she was originally hired to litigate. Thank God there are people who really care about veterans being exploited by individuals and professionals. After reading several positive reviews I believe the difference between her positive and negative impact on clients is based on financial leverage. If you can’t bribe her to do the work she’ll waste your time, energy and run the clock on applicable statute of limitations. NOT A DISABLED VETERAN FRIENDLY SERVICE PROVIDER.

She never meet with me prior to my case. I told her my preferred method of communication and she refused to communicate that way with me. Just like the prior comment she requested everything from me but never requested anything from ex. In the end she walked away from my case after taking my money and never provided effective representations.

Mrs Brenner was a Tremendous help with my criminal matter! Before I came across Mrs Brenner I felt like there was no help in sight for my case I also Had a prior attorney who pretty much told me there was nothing he could do for me. Mrs Brenner came to my aid she was helpful and cared about my case she negotiated with the District Attorney of hall county and was able to get 3 felony charges I had looming over my head dropped down to a misdemeanor… I went from a plea deal of 13 years in prison to 12 months of probation with no felony charges because of Mrs Brenner hard work and dedication she cared about my case and my freedom!!! She is highly recommended and is my first reference when anyone is looking for an attorney for family or criminal matters !! Thank you Mrs Brenner for all your hard work and dedication !!!

Not a good experience with this lawyer. After one year, nothing had been done, not even the discovery! She did same day cancellations for important dates without notice to me. (30 day hearing, mediation) I had to repeatedly request my billing summary over the course of 10 months, which I never received until a few days after I terminated our attorney client relationship. She did return calls, messages, email or text. And when she or her assistant Teresa would, it was always some very vague & cookie cutter response, always never answering the question inquired. She is not proactive in providing the status and setting expectations of what to expect next. After going to another attorney, I see that absolutely nothing was done or discovered with my time with Emily. There’s way more to say but my first review was unapproved because of what I was accusing her of. So I’ll say this, don’t hire this lawyer, I don’t believe the other reviews to be true. This lady gave me advice & told me that if I ever repeated she would deny. That was the first red flag, I missed.

She destroyed my custody case. She didn’t request any financial documentation from the opposing party during discovery . (The only evidence my new lawyer has is a single paystub.) She is terrible with returning calls. She didn’t even have my correct phone number despite providing it several times when requesting a callback. I wasn’t able to attend a zoom meeting hearing because she provided me 12 digit Zoom ID. Zoom meet up IDs are only 10 or 11 digits long. It’s hard for any judge to take me seriously as a Dad because of it. I highly recommend you search for another attorney but if you choose her do not ignore the red flags.

Very nice and professional. It was great feeling to have this firm represent my son with the highest level of professionalism, compassion, and empathy. Ms. Brenner worked tirelessly along with the DA to give my son a second chance to become the best young man possible. She encouraged my son to be responsible for his actions and think positive about his future and the impact he can make on this world. I am grateful for this firm and we are beyond excited about the future.

Emily Brenner is very smart, wise, kind and professional. Her intelligence, integrity and love of the law are rare qualities today. She fought for me and won! I highly recommend Emily Brenner. I felt safe and cared for. She is a fantastic person to have in your corner.
