He is the closing attorney for a home we are selling. Can’t get an answer. 3 days till closing and we have been sent nothing and no replies to questions. The first closing date was pushed back 10 days and we were not even informed until our realtor called to check (less than 48 hours before the scheduled closing).

Joel Gerber is amazing to work with. His staff is top notch and are always available to answer questions. Joel is knowledgeable and very approachable. He calls all of his buyers before the closing to introduce himself and gives them his cell number in case they have a question. I highly recommend him. My clients are always pleased with his service.

STAY AWAY!! Worst attorney I've ever dealt with! Sold my house and the buyer was asking me to pay some much in closing cost. I called to Joel office to see what was included in the closing cost. They told me the homeowner insurance was not in the closing cost. The buyer paid whatever she was suppose to paid at the beginning of the contract. Joel added her homeowner insurance into the closing and cut her a check in that amount she already paid. Then he going to say she paid too much " A LIE". They took my money just so low down and dirty. Then Refuses to refund my money or correct the paperwork. THIS OFFICE CANNOT BE TRUSTED AT ALL.

Not happy at all how my mother and myself were dealt with. Mr. Searcy was a family friend and knew my father well and wrote his will. After my father died I had to go to the office to sign papers and he said nothing to me about my father. Didn't offer his condolences and was a complete jerk. Refused to see my mother and offered her zero sentiments, as well. I'll tell everyone I ever meet about this experience. Mr. Searcy couldn't have been aby ruder or disgusting. I hope I never see him in my life again. He should hope for the same.
