Most would think that my divorce was going to be quick and simple. The only thing my ex-husband and I had to argue over was our son. We had no assets together, so it should have been quick and painless. We were in for a rude awakening. My parents and I consulted with David based on his reviews and I am so glad that we hired him. My case was being fought in a county where my ex-husband's family had ties to most of the judges as well as the sheriff. They were considered "pillars in the community" and it caused many roadblocks. My ex-husband's first attorney unethically obtained an ex-parte order stripping my child away from me and giving my ex-husband temporary custody. This was just the start of my battles in a county that had many corrupt on-goings, but through all of this, David continuously took the high road (even when I didn't want to). David never forced me to make a decision that I wasn't comfortable with, but he made me see things in different lights, and I think that saved my case in a lot of ways. David was always professional, caring, responsive, and understanding of my situation and my feelings. He had to do a lot of extra work because of things that were done by other attorneys behind closed doors, and even when we felt like our backs were against the wall, David never stooped down to the other party's levels, even though I gave him plenty of ammunition. In the end, David and his professionalism prevailed and I am now successfully divorced and able to move forward with my son and work towards our futures and goals. None of this would be possible if not for David's help. I'm sure that my ex and I will have to go back to court at some point in time, and I don't dread it nearly as much knowing that David is in my corner.

2nd DUI dropped to Too Fast for condition and No Probation. I was in need of a great DUI attorney to defend me in this DUI case, and I found him in Jason Cerbone. I was being charged with DUI less safe by the Georgia State Patrol in the State Court of Chatham County. Becuase I had a previous charge of DUI reduced to reckless driving, I knew I would need a hard working, smart attorney to make sure my rights were defended. After months of hard work and grit, Jason Cerbone had my charges dropped to speeding and too fast for conditions. Thank you again Jason Cerbone and your staff.

Jason Cerbone was amazing! This is the first time I’ve ever been in trouble and unfortunately, it was a DUI. I was very lucky to be able to hire Mr. Cerbone. He immediately made me feel comfortable about my case and proved how passionate he was in helping me get the results I wanted. We were able to continue my license suspension hearing until after my DUI case. He was able to plea bargain on my behalf and got my DUI tickets dropped down to a failure to execute due care with minimal fees and probation. I scheduled a free consult with three attorneys in one day. Mr. Purvis was my last attorney interview of the day and he blew the other attorneys out of the water! I was so impressed with his ability to understand my case without me having to point the details out to him. He saw the big picture when other attorneys did not. I could tell that he has handled many divorce cases. I would love to hire him, however the retainer is a tad out of my reach. The retainer is reasonably priced, it is just that my case is not that complex and I am really hoping to settle out of court. If I had the money available I would most definitely hire Mr. Purvis! I am still hoping to raise the money to have him represent me. By hiring him my mind would be at ease because I just know he would go after what I wanted, with the best interest in mind for my child and myself. In 2013, my ex husband filed a false court order abruptly keeping my child in Georgia after Summer visitation. I was immediately referred to the Manely Firm, where I was assigned David Purvis. I can never properly express my gratitude to everyone at the Manely Firm, but mostly David, for the manner in which my case was handled. David and Michael Manely took me on in a very emotional state, explained how and why my ex husband filed the paperwork he did, and how they were going to correct it. David represented me in a case whereby my ex wife was seeking to move my children 5hrs away - which would have affected my critical weekday visitation. David won my case. But HOW he won it is worth mentioning. While the opposing attorney relied on the time-worn tactics of 'muddying the waters," defaming me, and generally throwing stones to see which landed, David stuck to the facts, cited precedent and handled himself with superb professionalism with the court and witnesses. As others have mentioned, David's personal qualities are also to be admired; genuinely kind natured and concerned about the real lives affected by the outcome of the case. Winning these cases can be difficult for men even when the facts are on their side. I am extremely grateful (as are my kids) to have found such a quality person and talented attorney to represent me.

Mr. Herman represented me in a case involving a non-compete ‘agreement’ with a former employer. This was a very large corporation with many resources including a big Chicago law firm and another law firm hired locally. Just by reading Mr. Herman’s briefs and motions to the court in this case it was clearly evident I had picked a winner. And win we did, just he and I against a corporate giant. Mr. Herman outsmarted, outworked and outmaneuvered the opposition every step of the way and was always accessible to advise me or answer questions.
