I typically don’t leave reviews, but since I went with this attorney based solely on the outstanding Google reviews...here I go. Paid for a consultation. Was running an hour late, which stuff happens so that was fine. Thought we came up with a clear plan. Left. Never heard back. Waited about two weeks, called and left message with the front desk. Never heard back. Waited another week, called again. Never heard back. Needless to say we found someone else. Not sure where the raving reviews came from? We didn’t even have a complicated case. Oh well.

David Schachter has been a godsend. He cut through the mess of manipulation and instinctively knows how to uncover the mask of deceit. He is a bulldog in the courtroom and truly knows “The Art of War." Unlike others who may simply tear apart everything in their path, David achieves better results, and he adheres to a more honorable and advanced approach. He’s not a savage, but rather, brilliantly skillful. David draws from what seems to be a true passion to protect. He gets to know and really understand the heart of the situation as if he lived it himself. David never gives up, and never gives in to terror and dishonesty. It’s hard to put into words. Like the fiercest of Angels drawing from a higher cause. What comes to mind is St. Michael who leads God's armies against Satan's forces and becomes the healer of angels. David is one in a million with a unique set of skills and experience that has helped me for many years stand up to what seems to be evil at the core. Practiced Lawyer Brett Brinson was very kind and helpful. I had won my vehicle in my divorce, but my previous lawyer left out the VIN in the divorce papers and could not help rectify them when the local DMV asked for it to be added. I called Brett's firm and he came up with several solutions for me, one was even a very affordable route. This issue had been ongoing for five years and this is the most help I've ever gotten on the situation. Would definitely recommend this service to anyone who needs it.

I hired Mr. Schachter in October of 2018 to regain custody of my 6 year old son. I hired another attorney 5 months beforehand and needless to say that turned out to be a disaster. David quickly fixed my previous attorney's horrendous mistakes and took an abundance of time and consideration on my case. He took the time to collect every detail and every piece of evidence I had, even made great suggestions on things I should obtain for our case. He offers suggestions but in the end will do what YOU want to do. He makes sure you have a say in everything he does, which is phenomenal. My case was not easy, but David and I prevailed in the end and my son is now currently here with me in Savannah to stay. If i would have continued with my previous lawyer I would probably not be able to say the same. If you're on the fence on who to turn to in a rough time, David is your guy. He blows other attorneys out of the water. He follows the book and knows EXACTLY how the laws work. David, quite frankly makes opposing lawyers look like they have no idea what they're doing. Don't give your ex an opportunity to hire him!! This is the man you want on your side! I can't thank David enough for all that he did for me and my family.

Best experience considering the situation. My Ex and her attorney had been building their divorce case for two years. David Schachter destroyed their entire case after I contacted him one day prior to the hearing (not recommended to wait that long). His knowledge and love for his work can be felt at the first call to his receptionist (leaders transfer their energy). I could continue, but you get my point. He flipped the script on my ex in court, destroyed their narrative, and got me, a father, joint physical custody. In a matter of hours he fixed problems orchestrated by the other side for years. As far as The Schachter Law Firm, LLC goes, David I. Schachter and his team are the most fantastic firm ever. I trust them with my life and anyone who uses them should as well. They are a godsend. David works with his clients each month, as he is understanding and when the clients are frustrated, he takes the time to reassure them and provide them information. David was very successful with my divorce and custody battle, getting me - a male military officer- physical custody, which was a huge success in our system.
