After I was charged with obstruction, I contacted Mr. Maillet to discuss options. He was very professional and let me know my options before hand. I didn't even have to speak to the judge! He had everything worked out with the clerk to where the charge was dropped after I completed the diversion plan. He always answered phone calls (even after hour) and responded to my texts. I would recommend Mr. Maillet to anyone that has a criminal charge that needs help to get a reasonable plea. He will not let you down!

If can give 10 stars to the professionalism of this attorney, I would do it. We had 3 felony charges, transporting alcoholic drinks without paying taxes, speeding ticket and no driver license. Mr. Maillet represented my husband with his DUI case. He was very professional and let us know up front what to expect. My husband was very ashamed of the situation he was in, but Mr. Maillet did not make him feel uncomfortable, and he used humor to make us feel like we were human. After we met him for the first time, we felt more relaxed about everything. He handled everything in a timely manner, including returning all phone calls. Absolute worst experience with legal representation we've ever had. We payed $2500 to have this man represent us and it was a complete waste of time and money. We showed up to court 5 times for our DUI case. Each time we showed up we found out that we would not need to be there (mind you we live out of state) because either the trooper wasn't there or our lawyer didn't show up and we would have to call him from court to find out we didn't need to be there. He did not care about our case at all and when we became frustrated with the run around and confronted him he then asked for thousands more in order to finalize the case which was not at all what we had agreed upon in our original contract. Bottom line he took our money and failed to properly represent us and pawned us off on some other guy he claimed was another attorney we knew nothing about. What a joke and a disgrace to the legal system.

I am so glad I choose Mr. Maillet to handle my case. He discussed my case with me and gave me options. When I went to court, he had everything already prepared to present to the judge. Resorted to Jarrett under unusual circumstances. He was only worried about getting paid as most money hungry attorneys are. I paid him and he was never timely about updating me with a plan. Once it came time to give me a plan, which was one day before my case, he could barely remember what my case was even about. He continued to relay options I was never interested in and I had made it clear I wasn't interested in multiple times. Once in court he pursued me to do something I'd said I wasn't very comfortable with but did anyway out of trust with my attorney. All in all he got me a better 'deal' than what was expected but I know that it wasn't the result I'd desired out of an attorney I had complete confidence in. My best advice is to be into something really deep if you want his service and you'd have a better chance of him actually caring.

DUI case-Took $2500 up front, rarely returned our calls. Each time we did speak, he forgot who we were and had to remind him not only of who we were but describe the case each time. Claimed he spoke to witnesses and when I spoke to them they stated he never contacted them. Had to handle it all myself.Was caught in several lies. Went to court and he said to plead guilty so I got the max. Took 5 min! Never said one word to the judge for my defense. Never did anything for my defense. Tried to work with him for 3 months and it was just awful! No defense and a waste of our money. I got exactly what I would have gotten if I represented myself. $2500 down the drain for nothing. Save your money.
