After spending four days here I am confident I would not stay here again. For starters my husband and I book a room with a King Bed and were put in a room with doubles. When we asked for a new room the front desk simply stated "No". This was both uncomfortable because they made us feel we owed them an apology but people in our party received upgraded suites with kings beds and were traveling solo. As far as the staff at the pool bar, they could not have treated guests any more rudely. The adult pool, while very beautiful, closes around 2:30pm/3:00pm. This was when the pool was just starting to be very busy. It was odd that they took away the sunscreen, water, towels and chair covers at this time. There was no service for food or drinks yet it was still beautiful outside. I read the reviews before coming and I feel I fully understand why some guests choose to go up to the Montage instead. When you are paying a similar price, without a shadow of a doubt, the Montage will be much better. The location and property is what you will pay for. The service has been the worst we've had at this type of a hotel. All that to say, you will have a marvelous time on the property, the bell staff are a 10/10, the staff at Tavola were also a 10/10. Lower your expectations for service and you will be very happy.

Absolutely beautiful place and the best staff I have ever encountered. This is a place I will return to.
