We were facing a change of custody with a malicious ex-wife that had a lot of time on her hands. Sounds amazing, right??? Sheri Lake came HIGHLY recommended to us. Sheri, Stephanie, and Kristen Files had their hands full responding to harassing motions, absurd accusations, incompetent emails, and postponed court dates. (It took a village) It was comforting to know that they were handling it all for us. We felt minimum disruption from someone determined to try and cause destruction. In the courtroom Kristen was completely prepared and a force to be reckoned with. When it comes to getting justice served, I can't imagine hiring anyone else!

Had high hopes in the beginning. Kristen seemed really with it. In hind sight, I realize she didn't fully grasp how high conflict the situation was. She was late to mediation. She seemed distracted and unable to focus on the pertinent issues. Ms. Files got into a written back and forth with opposing counsel that pushed back filing of financial paperwork for child support. I was asked the same questions multiple times, I had to repeat questions multiple times before I was given answers. I gave her office explicit directions from DCSS regarding filling paperwork for the income deduction order and she did not follow them, resulting in me having to go the DCSS office to properly file paperwork after four months of incorrect payments.

My case definitely wasn't an easy one. I was well informed on the status of my case and The Alexander Firm always provided a quick response to any questions or concerns I had. Thank you to The Alexander Firm for seeing my case through, from being to end.
