Please do not waste your money on Laura and her team they are not helpful at ALL!!!!!!!!!!

Do not waste ur time and money on Laura they need to be fired!!!

Poor customer service it’s been a whole year and no one has reached out to me about my case I’ve gave these people so much money

This business is over charging people and not helping anyone on their situation i would not recommend no one to used this service please do no waste your time and money on this place of business it us not worth it. I definitely do not agree with anything that are doing this business is very negative and using people for their money to support them. Everyone if u are seeing these review please keep moving on dont waste your time it is better businesses out there that will support your situations.

I am writing this review to express my profound dissatisfaction with Laura’s handling of my divorce case. The experience was marred by a consistent lack of communication and excessive overcharging. Laura neglected to immediately notify me of legal documents received from opposing counsel. I was very disheartened to learn of the discovery request during mediation. When I questioned her about the notice and the fact that I wasn’t notified in a timely manner she got very defensive and stated she wasn’t the right attorney for me. Go figure, after collecting over $15k, filing two legal documents on my behalf, it was very easy for her to request to be removed from my case. She left me hanging during my discovery period and I was forced to hire another attorney and to come up with another retainer within a short period of time. Who treats a client like this during one of the toughest times of their life? Stay away from this firm unless you want to be charged excessively for follow-up emails and be treated like check instead of a client. She literally ran up my legal charges and then ran out on me when it was finally time to actually work my case… after allowing my case to sit for a year without any real traction.

Laura and the entire team were great. They were very attentive and kept me updated every step of the way. Laura is very personable and i would definitely recommend her to anyone. Experience was a 10/10 stars.

I have had the pleasure of working with Laura Sclafani for several years now. She has represented me in several custody related cases. Going through the process of divorce or custody cases is not something I'd wish on anyone, but, if it's something you have to do, you want Laura on your side. Laura acted as legal counsel, friend, and confidant through multiple cases over multiple years, and I continued to come back to Evolve Family Law for a reason; They care, and they are good at what they do. I can't recommend Laura and Evolve Family law enough. I hope I never have to deal with any family-law related stuff ever again, but, if I do, you can bet I'll be calling Laura again!

They guided me thru a complex financial and emotional process. And most importantly, protected my assets FIERCELY! Thank you, Laura. And Sandy, the office manager has the most calming, positive voice. She always made me smile and feel better. Laura is the best attorney and Sandy is great for explaining things and keeping things positive.

At the time Attorney Alexander was appointed to my 3rd custody case that began in 2020, I had already been in & out of court fighting for my son since 2013. I had been through 4 attorneys & had a traumatizing experience with a GAL from Richmond County who abused her authority giving his father custody with a one page report of her findings. I had never been arrested, had a good job, my own apartment where my son had his own room at the time. I felt the courts had failed me, then and on so many occasions awarding his father increased child support and attorney fees he demanded. Meanwhile, my son was being alienated from me since the age of 4 by his father. He would not allow me to see my son or talk to him for months at a time, denying me visitation, calling the police on me at exchanges saying I attacked him, not including me in school documents or doctor visits, etc. I was never rightfully acknowledged as my son’s mother. He robbed me of my baby’s first day of kindergarten. I had to file a Emergency Return of Child just to see my son again after he kept him from me for a entire summer. I had been through it emotionally, financially, physically. My son had been through it, he didn’t understand why his Dad wouldn’t allow him to see me or talk me consistently when he wanted to so badly. But I was NEVER going to give up on my son or getting back my time or my naturally born rights as his mother. When the Judge appointed Attorney Alexander to my case, initially fear filled me and my heart sank because I didn’t want the courts to fail me again. I immediately began to research her background and law experience. I discovered the documentary, “Gideon’s Army” ,where she was featured as a public defender. It was from there I saw her integrity, her drive, her wit, her dedication to justice. I wasn’t worried anymore and I just knew no matter the outcome of my case, this time something would change for the better for me and my son. She would expose the truth. My experience with Attorney Alexander was she was very professional, direct and thorough. She made me feel my time was important, addressed my concerns and questions without delay. More importantly, she made sure my son was comfortable, safe and upheld his privacy. In the end, she wrote a very organized and detailed lengthy report outlining the entire case to dates and times that made things very clear to the Judge in court. She takes note of both the pros and cons of both parties, being fair with no favoritism. Her focus is the best interest of the child or children involved in the case, period. She is dedicated and trustworthy. I was blessed the courts appointed her. She is a rare find in the justice system and worth it!!!
