I was in serious trouble after getting a DUI. The police, in their incident report, exaggerated greatly and made me out to be totally incapacitated- which was not the case! I was very worried about losing my job. The case dragged on for two years; and during that whole time she kept me informed and up-to-date on all the details of my case. Whenever I would call (daytime, night time & weekends), Rebecca was always willing to discuss the details and advise me. When we did finally get into court, that's when Rebecca really shined. Rebecca did an amazing job cross-examining the police officers and using the video to refute their police report and testimony. When the case ended, the jury wasted little time in coming back with a Not Guilty verdict. I was so relieved and thankful!!!

Rebecca represented me for my case (DUI and failure to maintain lane). I had no interest in a plea deal, so we ended up going to trial. This turned out to be a good decision as I was found not guilty on both charges. Rebecca was professional and pleasant. She remained positive while also keeping expectations realistic. Ultimately it comes down to results and Rebecca came through for me. It's hard to express how grateful I am for having her by my side in court.

I am a trucker and was in jeopardy of losing my CDL due to a DUI charge. I contacted Rebecca due to her excellent ratings as a DUI attorney as I was seeking only the best. She did NOT disappoint. Rebecca is TRULY the best DUI attorney a client could be represented by. She is extremely knowledgeable, dedicated, communicates well and cares about her clients. Rebecca filed motions to reduce the charge to reckless driving, but ultimately was able to have my case DISMISSED. I highly recommend Rebecca Kozycki-Kozycki Law if you are facing the same issue. Thanks again Rebecca!

After an evening of celebrating my birthday with friends, I was stopped at a road block in the city. The officer asked about my level of alcohol consumption for the evening - I shared with him two glasses of wine. I didn't feel intoxicated, but was detained by the officer as I admitted to having two glasses of wine. I refused field sobriety tests, and consented to breath test. I was booked, released, etc. I run a successful business and I also hold a professional license in Georgia, so I was terrified at how this would impact my career - among other things. How would I tell my family? How would I tell my staff? That same evening, I got online and did a tremendous amount of research - somehow it lead me to this website - I read so many of the attorney's profiles (including Rebecca's) and made a list of attorneys to contact the next day - Rebecca was at the top of the list. I called Rebecca, she answered promptly and professionally - we quickly scheduled a meeting in her office. From the very moment that I met her, I knew that I had found my match - articulate, experienced, compassionate, and right to the point. Without question, I hired her on the spot. She handled everything, and did exactly what she said that she would - she kept me informed, shared with me best and worse case scenarios, and ultimately achieved an exceptional outcome. She appeared in court for the arraignment, was successful in winning the ALS hearing (a big worry of mine was losing my driver's license) - she knew the officer and had a rapport with him. She had the case transferred from City of Atlanta Court to State Court - and the case lingered for quite a while. She filed motions to challenge the State's evidence, and other items. The day prior to the Motions Hearing, Rebecca called me to answer any questions, and was again direct - answering all questions - and assuring me that she was prepared. The morning of the Motions Hearing, she was absolutely prepared - prior to our court time, she shared with me her winning strategy - she had thorough notes, knew all of the aspects of my case, and was ready to "go get them". She knew all of the players involved in my case on the morning of court (including the judge), and I felt far more confident facing this stressful situation with her by my side. The bottom line is that the officer did not show up, she immediately initiated a motion to dismiss to the judge - the judge agreed - and CASE DISMISSED!!!!! The bottom line: if you are facing this same terrible situation as I did, do yourself a favor and stop your search now. Contact Rebecca immediately, and get her on your side to turn the tables around. Oh, and if you ever think of drinking and driving again, don't.

I chose to contact the Chestney Law Firm for my DUI because of their high rating on here. I was in quite the predicament when I was arrested while on probation and I was obviously freaking out. My case was given to Rebecca and, after hearing the details from the arrest, she seemed very confident that I may be able to avoid a conviction. She was knowledgable in just about every facet of DUI law and answered my questions very thoroughly in the initial interview. She explained not only the possible outcomes of my case but also how the Chestney firm operates each case. This automatically made me feel better, and it is the reason I eventually chose Rebecca to represent me.
This was essentially the last time I saw her. We contacted through email and phone mostly afterwards. At the initial appearances in court there was another, very capable, lawyer who seemed to be their person who represented the firm in Municipal Court. Long story short, everything happened just as Rebecca said it would and after a few years it finally seemed as if my case would go to trial. I got a call from Rebecca a few weeks prior to the court date and she told me she got it dismissed! Legality of the checkpoint was called into question and the judge agreed. Rebecca and the entire Chestney firm are well worth it if you really don't want/can't have a DUI on your record.

I live out of state, and this past July, while visiting friends I was arrested for a BUI (boating under the influence) during my stay with friends. I was completly lost on what to do, how to handle the situation, have absolutely no experience with the court system. I did the only thing I could think of, and that was google search for Georgia lawyers with BUI experience. I got lucky, there were many choices, but I chose Ms Kozycki by literally flipping a coin. I inquired about her services via their web site and she contacted me that day. She took care of everything, had the charges reduced so a BUI would not be on my record and I only had to make the trip back to Georgia (an 8 hour drive) 1 time, and the entire procedure was over in less than 30 minutes. I could not have been more pleased, I can't see how the procedure could have been any easier. If you have a similar situation, I would highly recommend contacting Rebecca Kozycki. Talk to her for 5 minutes, and you will realize she knows what she is talking about, understands your situation, and will guide you through the process for you to have the best possible outcome.

With lot of things going on in my mind after the day of arrest, not sure what should be my action. I was very much worried about my arrest, not having too many choices to talk with friends or others about the DUI arrest. Just kept thinking about my carrier & family, thinking what will happen next, I was running around talking with so many lawyers in Atlanta, everyone with whom I spoke was giving a hope, and the last one whom I meet to discuss on my case was Rebecca before I decide whom to represent my case.
Not sure what made me to choose Ms. Rebecca, next day I called Chestney Law Firm and told I would like to have Ms. Rebecca handle my case. In next few hrs, I got a call from Rebecca for getting all the required details and she just told me this, "You don't need to worry about anything, and we are there to handle this". I realized this during the entire duration till my case got dismissed in Motion hearing.
At the day of Motion hearing, she challenged the state for the way I was detained. She questioned the arresting officer in such a way that he gave all answers as “NO”, “I DON’T”, “NOT SURE”. She was very clear on her argument with the state and explained the judge why she wants to challenge the dentition process. With all the facts explained to the judge, and after the review to all the facts judge dismissed the case for unlawful arrest which dropped my DUI charges.
My personal recommendation to anyone who is in tough time with their DUI charges, I went thru the pain of this mistake, and know how it will be. Would recommend them to have Ms. Rebecca handle it and you continue your routine job.
When you read this just advice all your friends and family members “Don’t Drink and Drive”, it’s a pain not only for you, for all your surroundings.

Rebecca Kozycki inherited my D.U.I. case at the Chestney Law Firm a number of years ago and I am very grateful to her for the work she did on my case. I would recommend her to my family, friends, and anyone willing to listen.
I was charged with DUI, Failture to Maintain Lane, and Reckless Driving. I failed the roadside sobriety tests and blew double the limit at the station Intoxilyzer.
Rebecca was dedicated to my case and left me with no doubt my case was in excellent hands. Throughout the process, she left no detail or issues unturned and gave me the best opportunity for a successful outcome. She always kept me informed of what was going on with the case. Rebecca was very up front and honest about where I stood and what could be expected good or bad. She was always made herself available to answer questions or explain what was going on. Before my case was resolved I was extremely satisfied with her defending me.
Rebecca was able to get my 6 year case dismissed right before it went to trial. There is no doubt it was because of Rebecca's knowledge and dedication. I am very thankful to the entire law firm as well. They all work as a team to fight for your case from beginning to the end. You will not find a better DUI lawyer. Every case is a tough situation and you need the best fighting for you no matter what. A great lawyer is a must and I had that with Rebecca Kozycki representing me.

I had the pleasure to hire Rebecca to represent my case. Her advise had clear expectations from day one. I was very impressed the day of my trial. She really fought on my behalf and it was an important key to help the jurors come with a verdict that was fair and right. I would recommend her to anybody.

Rebecca inherited my case several years ago after a previous lawyer left the Chestney firm. After reviewing my file, she put together a well thought out and detailed defense that ultimately helped me overcome the charges against me. My case took years before going to trial, but Rebecca always kept me informed as to where we were in the process and what to expect. I would highly recommend Rebecca to anyone in need of help in defending themselves against a DUI charge.
