My 90 year old mother in law asked me to find an attorney to look over her affairs, which had not been addressed legally in 12 years. A friend suggested Ruthann Lacey. Our consultation meeting was very professional. Ruthann listened to us while going over the information packet that had been emailed to me. At the end of a comfortable and informative meeting she provided us with a to do list that made a lot of sense. She updated my mother in laws will, power of attorney and health directive. Her work has given my wife and I the confidence we needed to be caregivers. In fact we have decided to have Ruthann look at our affairs next year.

Ruthann Lacey has been our eldercare attorney since 2010. She has prepared our will and powers of attorney with careful consideration for our special needs. We have met with her at more than one additional time for regroupment meetings when our needs have changed. We brought our financial advisor to one of these meetings. Ruthann has always provided excellent advice based on her experience working with people who are soon to retire or have retired. She is ably assisted by her paralegal staff who also have been cordial and experienced. We believe our documents are in the best possible order and provide for all contingencies that may arise in the future.

Ruthann was very patient listening to me about my situation and what we needed to do. She was extremely detailed when she gave me my "to-do" list. JR was very helpful in setting appointments and answering questions that I asked. I felt well cared for and understood throughout the entire experience.

Ruthann updated my will which she originally did seventeen years ago. She answered in detail about 25 questions regarding my son who has special needs. At this time in my life I needed a caring, experienced attorney who could calm my fears about my son’s wellbeing as I age and after my death. She gave me direction and resources to make the process easier for me. She and her staff are professional, accommodating and are a pleasure to work with.

The consultation and document presentation was complete, concise, and left no questions unanswered. I was given the opportunity to make changes, additions and deletions with consultation as necessary. Very thorough and professional thru all aspects of the process. Very pleased with the results!!

Supposedly free consultation extended so that we paid quite a bit for limited advice telling us which documents we would need. Then there was the cost of the actual documents (in advance), which had typos which she would not correct. She was not at all responsive and her staff was not professional.

We are so Grateful for Ruthann and her expert knowledge in assisting us to prepare our Wills, Durable Financial Power of Attorney and Durable Advance Directive for Health Care. Ruthann and the staff were very quick in answering our questions. We would recommond Ruthann to our friends and family, they did an excellant job.
