I had to email several times for updates on a 2 year custody case with no progress. Their excuse was covid as is ever other companies excuse. I had a friend who filed after I did have their case heard by Judge almost a year before mine. So finally they booked mediation after calendar call requires it. That mediation was booked for 7 months after calendar call date and booked with an attorney that their was conflicts and of interest. So obviously had to reschedule for 4 months later. So the entire two years I NEVER ONCE GOT A CALL OR EMAIL UPDATE without emailing them or calling then first. Then they have the audacity to charge me 30 dollars per email to respond to my requests for updates. I gave my lawyer tons of evidence of wrong doings by my ex and daughter and she had none of it ready at mediation so the fact she was unprepared and booked mediation with a lawyer I had used for first mediation shows lack of preparation and professionalism. So now after mediation they are asking for another large sum of money. Go figure. Lawyers they are all the same only looking out for their pocket book or wallet. Wouldn't use this firm or recommend them. I used them in the past and was okeased and thought Amy Carter was a good lawyer that cared for clients and doing the right thing. I have quickly realized through this she cares about money.
