After the recent death of my Mother, Rich Connelly and office manager Shona Stapp assisted me in probating my Mother's will and settling her Estate. I would highly recommend this team if you find yourself in need of a lawyer. They are knowledgeable, professional, patient and compassionate. It is difficult to find the appropriate words to explain how absolutely wonderful of an attorney that this man is. He has all the qualities of the perfect attorney. (There is such a thing at this firm!) He is very responsive, understanding, skilled at research and listening. His knowledge of the law and communication skills are superb. Even with all that, there is so much more. Rich is kind and compassionate. He is humble and caring. All of those things not only make him an excellent attorney, they also make him an amazing person that you want to have your back during difficult and unstable times in your life. He was all of that and more for me when I was injured at work. From the hospital to rehabs and all the care thereafter, he was there. You can trust him to handle your case while you handle your well-being and focus on healing. He never failed to continuously and sincerely check in with me to see how I was doing. He was encouraging at many times when I needed it the most. My injury was life changing. It was a time that I felt scared and vulnerable, but with having an attorney like this, my case was in excellent hands. He met and exceeded any expectation I had. Before hiring an attorney for my divorce which my husband filed, I did my research and read the reviews on Mr. Connelly. I interviewed several attorneys. During the consultation, I could see the attributes that others had written about him were true with me as well and so I made my decision to hire him. I valued his professionalism and honesty, which one would expect when hiring any service professional to deliver but sadly often do not receive. But he did much more. He was firm with me when I needed it, he was direct, he was understanding and kind. He knew the heartache and how crazy this situation can make a person. He was spot on delivering the emotional support to get me through this nasty business. He was not my emotional counselor but my legal counselor keeping me on track emotinally to cope with the legal battle. I had depended on my husband for 17 years as my rock and now I had to transfer that dependence, that need for help onto a stranger to do battle with the man I still loved. Rich did this. He accepted me where I was emotionally and in my spiritual beliefs. He did an amazing job. He helped with the cost, returned calls and e-mails, guided me through the process all of that which is expected he did well. He represented me in court, the last place I ever thought I would find myself and my husband, and he finished the battle as well as he started it. He was consistent and precise. When your life has turned upside down the last thing you need is someone to make it worse and he never did that. He never added more problems to what I had to deal with. He did his job well. I am forever grateful that he helped me close a very painful chapter in my life with ease and grace. Rich is what you hope and pray you can find in a lawyer to help you go through something you don't want to go through. He was my defender and champion. He is smart and sharp. He never let me down. Rich represented me in a custody case that spanned about 2 years. He was very honest and up front about what to expect and he ended up delivering beyond expectations. I was in a car wreck back in January 2011. My parents hired Mr. Connelly while i was still in the hospital. He started on my case and forewarned me it could take a while to resolve. During the length of the case Mr. Connely was very informative and helpful to my parents and myself. I was the one who filed for divorce. First of all I wish I had spoken with him months before beginning the process but alas, I did not. Tried to settle without attorneys but to no avail. Rich offered a free upfront consultation, which was nice. He was upfront about everything that could and may happen. Communication was great. Emails and phone calls were returned quickly and with the information I had been seeking. I have been down this road before so I knew to be totally honest with Rich about my past and present in order to allow him to do the best job possible of representing me. I went in wanting what was best for my child 1st, then to be fair 2nd and 3rd to protect my small business and myself. If you want an attorney to tell you what you want to hear then Rich is NOT your guy. If you want to be told realistic scenarios and a good strategy with cost options for all things presented in a clear and easy to understand manner then proceed with Rich. He is certainly not afraid to go to trial and does so regularly. The “big name” lawyers do NOT intimidate him. Many attorneys avoid the courtroom like the plague and only wish to settle. Not so with Rich! However, a trial is very expensive and he helped me to review cost and outcome options every step of the way. What a breath of fresh air to have an attorney not just trying to jack up his fees by going to trial. I loved that he gave me some money saving options by allowing me to assist with the preparation of the case. If it is possible at all to walk away from a divorce feeling that you “won” I have that feeling. Fast, efficient and very affordable. Much more so than the other lawyers I had spoken with. I could not be more pleased.
