Daesik was the lawyer I was assigned after retaining the Manely Firm (although when I signed my contract I was told a very experienced woman was taking my case, not someone just out of law school.) If you go to LawyerRatings.com and view Michael Manely you will see I am one of many that has the same exact complaint. Daesik billed for “preparing file” “organizing file” “signing papers in file” “going online to e-file” .... a whole lot of nothing. He went through my entire retainer in one billing cycle, mostly for 17 hours of “research” that I had been promised would be no more than 1.5 hr. He spent more time defending the legitimacy of his billing than anything else, and added undue stress, both financially and emotionally to this single mom’s life....without even batting an eyelash.
