I hired Molly Mindy to represent me in a child custody schedule/child support change. Big mistake. I paid her as agreed and quickly found out she not only drug her feet on meeting her own deadline drawing up the simple few papers in a promised “ few weeks” , but talked down to me after giving her ample time months past said time frame. She ate through my retainer and sent me a bill for almost $1000 more and still hadnt completed my paper work. A lot of the retainer money I discovered was used on uploads of text screenshots to her website portal she told me to use. I originally offered to put them on a disc and bring to her office because it was simpler. Was about 50-60 text in all. She said to just use the portal. I didn’t know each screenshot upload would cost $15 and more. She milked it. When my ex was ready to sign after a few months of negotiations, I asked Molly to change a few simple details. Between February until about May of the following year, her office had to send me at least 5 different revisions of my papers because they kept messing them up. This was when time was of the most essence going on 8 months from when I first hired her. Her office made so many mistakes in these papers that my ex even laughed at me and her for them being constantly wrong. She even put a PERIOD in the middle of a word, and told me it actually wasn’t spelled wrong. Mistakes included my child’s name being totally wrong, the county we both lived in being wrong, our address wrong, words spelled wrong, the county the court was being filed in was wrong and my child’s birthday wrong. Edits I asked her to make and correct was sent back untouched in some instances. Each time she sent me a new copy for my ex to sign either I would find a mistake, or my ex would find a mistake. When I finally had realized she was charging me for fixing these mistakes I called and told her secretary how unprofessional and embarrassing this was to me. My ex was laughing and almost decided NOT to sign them. It took months for them to be corrected. I told her secretary how I didn’t understand how these mistakes kept being sent to me even after I emailed them and specifically asked them to proof read before sending them back. I told her I wasn’t going to give another copy to the ex until it was all correct because I didn’t want myself or her office to look like idiots to the ex or court because at this point all credibility and leverage had been lost. Molly then emailed and told be I was to never speak to them like that again or she would drop me. My ex finally signed after the 5th or 6th copy was sent to me FINALLY correct and sent back to Molly to file. This was about 2 1/2 yrs ago. I called the courthouse about 5 months later to be sure it was filed and they told me they tried contacting Molly as she needed to come there in person to file and speak to the judge. I relayed this to her office and to this day I’ve never heard from her or gotten any update. I’ve not check yet to see if it ever got filed as I’ve been more worried about the ex screwing with my visitation if she discovered it wasn’t filed. So now that my daughter is a little older that issue isn’t as dire as of today. This is why I’ve waited so long to post this. DO NOT HIRE THIS WOMAN. She will talk big at first then lay down and never come through and at the same time eat through your retainer and down right be irresponsible. I would sue her but I really don’t want the headache after all of this. Fighting to see your child is hard enough for a dad, but dealing with lying lawyers is not worth my time even though I feel she owes me a HUGE chuck of money back if not all of it. I think public exposure will be better for anyone who needs to know who NOT to use. A couple of months promise turned into yrs of a nightmare for me all because of her. I hope my retainer bought her enough makeup chair time to take all those pictures she has on her web sight. One thing is for sure, $2500 worth of makeup doesn’t cover an ugly heart. I will be posting this everywhere I can.

Fantastic lawyer, wish I could give more stars. He went above and beyond for my case and got me the outcome I desired. I cannot recommend Jay enough to anyone, he was quick, efficient, and just overall a really nice and cool guy. He speaks to you like a good friend and will shoot straight to the point. If I ever have any future legal matters that I need assistance with, he’s the man I will go to. Cherokee county can be difficult to deal with some times, Jay makes it seem like a mere walk in the park. If you have to lawyer up, give Jay a call, you won’t regret it.

Hire her NOW !!! She is Smart ,Scrappy & Sassy. Very knowable in her field ,she was exactly what we needed to defend us in court against DFAC's. She was able to get the return of my grandchild that day ! Forever grateful for lawyer's like this.

Molly Mindy is hands down the best attorney in Cherokee county. We hired her on Friday afternoon for an emergency custody hearing that took place Monday morning at 8:30am. She showed up to court aggressive & ready to fight with us for my bf’s child. She went above and beyond what we expected, which resulted in us getting full custody of my bf’s son immediately, which was of course exactly what we were hoping for, but were told by multiple other attorneys that it would be nearly impossible to get. Molly Mindy is a fighter, who knows exactly what she is doing in the courtroom. We have a journey ahead of us and are so grateful & happy to have her on our side as we get through it. We have no doubt in our mind that she is going to get us the results we are hoping for. Highly HIGHLY recommend her to anyone needing a lawyer who is going to run a courtroom, bully the defense, and get exactly what you are hoping for!
