Location and order could improve

Ed represented my company in Hawaii. He is as honest and ethical as they come. He sweats blood for a positive outcome for his clients. I felt lucky to be represented by him.

Edward represented me during my bankruptcy. I was wanting to get this experience over with quick and in a hurry. Edward and I met, signed papers, sent documents to the court, and received a date for a meeting with the creditors all in the same day. Obviously this is a stressful time in life and paying for him took almost all stress pertaining to finances away and eliminated my debt. He explained the “legal mumbo-jumbo” so that I could understand it. He was very helpful in answering any questions I might of had. He was very prompt. I can say after sending a email or leaving a voicemail I never waited more then 5 MINUTES for a response. He helped me eliminate a huge burden and I never thought it was going to be so easy. Obviously I paid for his service but I do feel he went above and beyond!!!! I would recommend anyone to Edward Magauran to represent them.

Mr. Magauran is truly a real professional. He made sure I knew what to do every step of the way, As I sat and listened to other cases before mine, each of the other three attorneys that were there had made some sort of a mistake during their client's hearings. One even forgot to tell her client to bring her social security card! I was so glad that I had chosen Mr. Magauran to represent me. My case went smoothly from start to finish. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

I spoke to a few lawyers and decided to hire Mr. Maguaran to handle our bk case. I chose him because he seemed more thorough and knowledgeable. He was a few hundred dollars more then the other lawyers I spoke with and worth it. Don't try to save a few bucks - hire the best. Know that you will be in good hands from the beginning to end of your case as we were. His associate Ms. Christenson who flew to Maui to represent us was so wonderful and caring. I am so appreciate to her because it was such a stressful time for me and she actually made it a pleasant experience with her presence there. I can't say enough of how much I appreciate them. I must begin by saying; Edward Magauran was like a blessing in disguise. I cannot thank him enough for taking on my parent's case. My parents have gone through many different financial struggles and the worse came when they received a notice that their house was going to be auctioned in a week. It remember clearly, freaking out when my mom had told me. It was a Friday, and that following Tuesday our house was going to be auctioned. I felt the anxiety start to kick in, as I searched online for a good lawyer. I was informed by someone who was helping my parents to find a good bankruptcy lawyer. I kept searching, reading reviews, and finally I narrowed it down to 2 lawyers one being Edward Magauran. The first lawyer I contacted was actually from the Big Island and would not be able to take my parent's case in such short notice. He actually recommended someone here, but, I decided to go with Mr. Magauran. So I emailed him quickly, thinking he probably wouldn't respond, but a few minutes later I got a phone call. I was very nervous and probably didn't make much sense. He asked me questions and I did not have answers to some of them. He told me to get all the information he needed and to call him back as soon as I can. I did exactly what he wanted and got all the information he needed and called him back about an hour later. I thought he would have turned me down because of such short notice, but surprisingly, he didn't. He told me that we would have to meet this Sunday to file for Monday before it's too late. He made it clear what the fees would be and I did not hesitate to say no because he was doing me a favor. First, he was coming into his office to meet with us, and he was missing his daughter's (I think) it was a soccer game. He asked his wife if she could take her and so more I felt I could not let him down. Sunday came, and he informed me of what type of payment I needed, I wanted to cry when I went to get a money order and did not know that I had to do it in forms of $500 dollars, and it had to be cash. My bank only allows me to withdrawal $200 a day at an ATM. It was 10:25am and our appointment with Mr. Magauran was at 11:00am. I felt that I had let him down and was embarrassed to call him. But I called him so he didn't think that I was irresponsible and asked if I could write a personal check and explained to him what had happened. He told me it was okay. We got there a few minutes late because of all the mess I just went through. He thoroughly went over everything with us which took about an hour. I made arrangements with him to get a cashier's check from my bank the next morning and have it to him by 11am. I did as I promised because I felt he did more than his part and so I have to live up to my word. I did meet him and he told me not to worry, he would process everything and the auction would be stopped by today. He was true to his word and everything was stopped. He is still working with us and again I am blessed to have found such an understandable, trustworthy, hardworking, and straightforward lawyer. He has turned a stressful disaster in 3 days to an unworried and calmer situation. I am very thankful for his services in representing my parents and would highly recommend Mr. Magauran to anyone who needs a Bankruptcy Lawyer.
