I hired Alen after letting go of my previous attorney on the Big Island where my case was located. This proved to be the best decision EVER, because not only did we win, but also because Alen was so kind, considerate, and most importantly determined! It’s unfortunate to be in a situation where you need a criminal attorney, but when you do, it’s nice to have one who has empathy towards you and what you are going through. Alen is highly knowledgeable of the law, impressive in the court room, and was completely motivated to win my case. He was always quick to respond to any questions that I had, proactive with the case, paid attention to the smallest of details, and worked extremely hard from beginning to end. I cannot say enough about how great of an attorney Alen Kaneshiro is. Alen is very talented at what he does, and I am so grateful that he took my case!

Mr. Jim walked me through the entire process of my claim from beginning to end. Did not use a lot of legalese jargon, and took the time to explain all of the issues and expectations that I should have directly and honestly, but in a compassionate manner do to my sensitive situation. Fees were reasonable. While we were prepared to go to court, defendant decided to settle largely in part because of Mr. Jim's thorough research and knowledge. Local boy, St. Louis grad, but with LA Law teeth.
