I highly recommend Attorney Jim Stone!

My sister was terribly hurt in a pedestrian accident in 2019. A very close and astute friend of hers who is an attorney recommended that we meet with Bert Sakuda. It was to be a pivotal meeting that came at a time of great pain, trauma and fear for our sister’s life. We simply did not know what we did not know. Bert Sakuda shepherded us through layers and layers of medical, legal and financial issues that seemed never ending. Tricia Etsler was our insurance and expenses expert who kept detailed records from the many different providers. Bert was always well-informed of our situation and options open to us. He and Tricia and the team were always accessible. They brought a wealth of experience, resourcefulness and compassion that gave strength to endure through some very tough times and HOPE. We give them the highest recommendation without reservation. We are forever grateful for their professionalism, great negotiation skills and generosity of spirit.

I heard about Mr. Wayne Kekina from my mom, which is a huge thing being that she's not one to give recommendations lightly. At the time I didn't even think I needed a lawyer, but I was so overwhelmed and agreed. Mr. Kekina and Associates jumped in and really saved me from problems I didn't realize would arise. They advised me with everything and not only listened, but heard me when I had something to say. The entire staff, from receptionist to Senior partners were professional, thorough and really did have my back through the 3 years that it took to bring resolution. We hired Jim to assist us with our son who was struck by a vehicle as a pedestrian. He is very thoughtful, thorough and involved. While it was a long difficult process he was helpful along the way and fought hard on our sons behalf. We felt he cared for us and our son. Highly recommend!

I was involved in a 3 car accident caused by a truck slamming into me and pushing me into the person in front of me. With HI being a no fault state there are hoops that have to be jumped through just to sue the person at fault. I had a tough case that nobody wanted to take on. I went to James J. Stone office and he agreed to take on the case. He fought long and hard for me. There were times where I had given up but Mr. Stone and his assistant continued to work tirelessly on my case. Through their perseverance they got me more than what I was gonna settle for and I couldn’t be happier with the outcome!
