I called Hawaii Disability Legal Services to get some information about disability, I spoke to Kai, she was very helpful. She explained the process of applying for disability. Since I’m still working full time I am not eligible, I will definitely call back when I can no longer work.

In my darkest moment when I was at my lowest after having another attorney leave me because he closed his law firm and leaving me dry my mother helped me look for another law firm and came across Hawaii Disability services. From the moment, we had started talking to them getting to know who I was as well as my case and having gotten to know the law firm each and every one of them had nothing but hospitality, kind, understanding and everything that would make up the word Defense why I say this is because they not only fought for me this group of individuals made me feel as if I was one of theirs doing anything they could to defend their people. Despite the time I may have had to wait they would always call to check up on me, continue to check in with social security making sure my case was moving and not at a stand still. From the very first call I made to his office and every call/text since I've always gotten a hold of him. He actually knows what he's doing and will make you feel very relaxed, comfortable, and safe. My case was put together so well and everything was so in order that my bankruptcy hearing yesterday, for my case, was 3 minutes or less and it went beautifully. Anyone and everyone can claim to be great at what they do. Ed is a legit rockstar at what he does with so much knowledge and experience. He’ll be completely upfront and candid about everything, he won’t sugar coat anything, and if he tells you he can take care of you believe him. I put my faith in him and he absolutely delivered. I went to him with a MOUNTAIN of debt that I’ve been killing myself trying to keep up with on top of everything else. I’ve had a lot of things thrown at me lately and Ed took away one of the biggest stressors that has been plaguing me for years.
