I’d like to take the time to share my experience with Greg Ryan and associates. Where I was lucky to have found them, I understand the stress of searching for the attorney that will be taking your fate into their hands. Choosing the right law firm to represent you can be the difference in whether you face a hopeful future or a devastating outcome. No outcome is guaranteed but the odds are in your favor when someone fights for you as if it’s themselves they are fighting for. In my case The odds did not look to be in my favor. I was forced to leave my home state of Hawaii because of my financial circumstances. I was emotionally compromised because I was facing the possibility of not having the time with my son that both my son and I needed. I used Greg Ryan and Associates to re-open a custody case in order to obtain a more fair and reasonable visitation that would better suit my son and I. In truth, modifying an already made court order can be unpredictable and challenging. I’d like to share that my lawyer Phil Dureza was amazing! When I first met him I experienced a genuine heart and kindness. The office staff was kind and quick to keep me notified with any changes and explained everything to me with patients and care. When I witnessed Mr. Dureza fight in the courtroom, the respect I had already established for him ,,sky rocketed!! Mr. Dureza took his time in learning my case. He was never unprepared. There were embarrassing moments where my opposing party was shaming me as does happen in court. In those moments where I felt hurt or scared, Mr. Dureza was quick with his responses to defend me and made compelling arguments that went in my favor. Not once was he caught off guard by the other attorney who was fighting hard to not only shame me but take what little time I already had. My attorney faught back with a genuine heart for my son. I have never witnessed such a respectable kindness all while being reasonably aggressive. It was both an honor and privilege to wittiness him in his element. I was so grateful to have him. I believe if I had anyone else fighting for me I would not have gotten anything I was asking for. In this case I ended up with more than what I had asked for. In time my situation would have been better when my son was older and can make decisions but as everyone knows time waits for no one and time lost meant memories lost with my son. Missing this time would have been both devastating and heart breaking. Greg Ryan and Associates are the reason My son and I can look forward to being together again after an unfortunate past where divorce and prior custody circumstances had put limitations on our time. I'm an out of state parent now and Mr. Dureza made sure that did not stop my son and I from maintaining our relationship. I made this review in hopes that if someone is looking for an attorney who believes in bringing a loving parent and child or children justice and you need to know your child’s best interest is a main priority then you can use Greg Ryan & Associates. You can have confidence that they will invest not only their time but their genuine hearts. My only regret is that I didn't have them sooner. It was a privilege to have them in my Corner. I had a tenant who kept delaying rent payments, then left the country, promising to pay. I was referred to Nathan Natori who patiently listened to my problem, then advised me how to get the tenant's family to voluntarily move out his possessions. Hooray, I didn't have to go to court an eviction. Thanks Natori Law Office for all your help. You saved me money and anguish.

Communicates promptly with cogent advice and suggestions. Acknowledges receipt of materials immediately and bills according to what he says he will do without padding the bill by a few extra hours. On top of all that, he and his staff are genuinely nice people and take their time to listen to the client's needs. My family would happily use his services again.

We wanted to sell our Waikiki condo and exchange it for a condo on the Big Island and we wanted to avoid realtor commissions. Nathan walked us thru the process providing us advice on how to proceed. We found a listing service and sold without a realtor only paying commission to the buyer’s agent and were able to buy our new condo without any realtor commissions on either side of the transaction. Nathan answered questions as they arose and saved us a lot of money.

I was looking for assistance in evicting a tenant who was delinquent on their monthly rent. Nathan was so gracious in taking my case and helping me out. Nathan is very professional and knowledgeable. He took me step by step through the process to resolve my situation and always kept me up to date throughout. I highly recommend him for your legal matters.

Natori law office was very quick to respond to my questions and addressed all my concerns thoroughly and rapidly leaving me assured that I actually understood everything. I will be recommending to anyone I know who could use their services in the future.

This man is so unprofessional and condescending. He truly believes he walks upon the air of others. What a dillusional excuse of an attorney.

Myles took my case when I was a child facing some serious adult charges. Nobody on this island could get me less than a life sentence, now I am a free man. Myles never missed a hearing and fought for me for over 10 years! I ran out of money, but he never left me hanging, and though I had nothing to offer he never treated my case less than another. If it was his staff taking my call , he would always call back to check in. Overall, he is a good man, and a great lawyer. I found him when I was at my lowest sitting in a cell by myself. Someone wrote “Myles Breiner saved my life” on a wall and left his number. I memorized the number and prayed he could save mines too. He did! I left my real name because I feel like a lot of people make fake reviews for themselves to try to sell their stuff, this is 1000% fact. Google me. I’ve been out for over a year and I won’t waste the life Myles gave me back. I owe him my life.......

I was in a car accident in Kona, while vacationing and reached out to Ian's firm after flying home. Ian is great. His son, Scott, is great. The real workhorse was their associate, Rachel Otto. I worked very closely with her for almost 3 years. She is clear, responsive, compassionate and very hard working. I always felt I was in the very best professional hands after my frequent chats with Rachel. As we moved to close the case and settle, Scott made some suggestions but ultimately made clear that he was working for me and I was ultimately in complete control. When your life and health are turned upside-down by a game changing injury, the long journey from initial contact with a lawyer all the way to the end, can be a rollercoaster of emotions and states of mind. Having a legal team of very personable, capable, and friendly people can really keep you positive and confident throughout a very trying ordeal. This firm actually took a little less of the settlement so I could walk with the number I was hoping for. I have to think that a majority of firms wouldn't even hear of such a thing. Working with Ian Mattoch and associates was one of the best decisions of my life. Thank you to you all!

I can't express enough how having this practice represent us was the BEST decisions I have made for our family. Brad Russell and Donalyn Ortogero were both handling my adoption case for two of my children. They did their best to make this affordable for my husband and I. They had even allowed to set up a payment plan during the adoption process. The adoption was a long one to finalize due to the courts scheduling and reviews but everything was handled quickly with them. My family wouldn't be united under one last name without their help. We are all now a forever family! I am so grateful, they had made this a smooth process and truly affordable. I hope I won't need them in the future for family law but if ever I do, this will be the first place I go or even to refer everyone that asks. Thank you so much guys!

Molly Turpin has been extremely helpful and her knowledge of Family Court and the Court system is calming and reassuring. She has taken the time to explain any issues or concerns that I have had and made sure that I was fully prepared and informed during this long and difficult process. The assistance from the rest of the members there at the Law Firm, including Greg Ryan, have also been very appreciated. I have worked with a few others there for questions that needed answering and quick responses for short term items. The staff there has always taken care of what needed to get done when Molly was in court and unable to respond right away. Molly has worked after business hours, weekends and while on vacation in order to get information to me and correct documents to the court on time. She really has shown that she cares and so has the rest of the staff at Greg Ryan. They are all very appreciated and recommended. **Update** 13 January 2020 I have had to use Greg Ryan Law firm for over two years now during my divorce and after. I never once have doubted the resources, knowledge and kindness that Greg Ryan Law and its employees have had during this time. They have continued to show they care and support their clients even after my divorce was finalized. Several time I have had to ask for answers to questions or paperwork that I did not fully understand. I have walked into the office and if Molly was not available than another helpful member of the team would step in and get me answers. One thing that I absolutely appreciated about working with them is that I never felt lied to or that information was being withheld. It was always open and informative conversations that had the best interest of the people involved in the situation. As hard as it was to hear sometimes, and as much as I may not have wanted that answer, I followed their advice and it was the right thing to do every time. I highly recommend Greg Ryan Law firm for anyone needing legal services that they can provide. I hopefully do not need them much anymore, but I will not hesitate to use them again in the future.
