Thank you so much for helping me with this bankruptcy process. At first I was afraid to file for bankruptcy, but my bills were overwhelming during covid and just trying to make it paycheck to paycheck was and still is hard, especially living here in hawaii. You hear about bankruptcy all the time but when you actually face bankruptcy it's a whole different experience. I ended up in a situation where all of the sudden my paycheck was being garnished for a HELOC I had almost 15 years prior - during the mortgage crisis. It was a shock and put me in a terrible financial situation. I thought the loan was terminated because of the mortgage crisis. I had never received any letters or court documents until the paycheck garnishment. I quickly learned that HELOC's were not terminated - only home loans were. The best advice I got was to file for bankruptcy. I learned that there's no shame in that. The important thing was to get back to where you can continue to pay rent, purchase food and important necessities. I found Greg Dunn's info online and he looked impressive and professional. Mr. Dunn was so organized that he got me through bankruptcy and got the garnishments cancelled in a matter of a couple of weeks. He also was able to get the two months of garnished money back to me. Most importantly, he was able to put me at ease by helping me understand how filing for bankruptcy is important and valuable. Mr. Dunn is extremely organized which resulted in no time wasted. Before and after each meeting he gave me a to-do list of information he needed for the courts which helped expedite the process. I am very grateful for Mr. Dunn's guidance and I would recommend him highly to everyone.
