I had an unpleasant encounter with Edward Smith I wouldn't recommend at all. He lacks moral values and respect, focusing solely on financial gains. Once he secures the payment, he provides minimal assistance and quickly moves on. Whenever I contacted him, I needed to remind him of my identity because he tends to forget his clients and cases. I enlisted his help for immigration services, but in my view, his knowledge in immigration matters seems lacking. I received greater assistance from Facebook's group.

Don’t waste your money and time. He doesn’t reply to calls and if he does by accident he lies about working on your case. Please save yourself a headache! He is not a professional. He treats you horribly and his offices look like some scam place. He is respectful until you pay him. Once he gets the money you are nothing to him.

Ed and his staff helped us get a Green card for my wife. Our case was not typical; we had problems with USCIS, and our whole process start to Green card took five years. Our experience taught us that if your immigration situation is complicated - you need an attorney! We contacted Ed hoping that he might be able to help us, and he wound-up being the ideal person. Ed listened to us and asked us questions to understand our issue, and then WE went to work! He knew the route we needed to take with USCIS, and he was very clear about the information and action he needed from us (there's a lot you have to do yourself). Ed runs a tight operation. His staff were amazing, and they were like our team that always had our back. Working with them gave us confidence in what we were doing and what was happening. This was so important especially when dealing with the "hurry-up to wait" reality of the immigration process. We got the Green card and had a wonderful experience with Ed and his staff! We highly recommend anyone needing legal assistance to reach out to them.

Kainoa helped me resolve a real estate-related dispute. Having hired many in-house and outside lawyers for companies I manage, and being a lawyer myself, I find him particularly thoughtful, diligent, cost-conscious, and good at listening and understanding the issues at hand. I would not hesitate to hire him again for a business-related matter.

AVOID THIS LAWYER AT ALL COSTS!! He'll say he can help then take your money and do the absolute bare minimum, if that. Then when you realize how poorly he fights for you in court and you request an itemized list of his so-called services and a refund of the remaining retainer, he'll send you a completely bogus list of work and time there's no way he spent. He'll even have the audacity to charge you thousands more just in spite of you firing him for being so incompetent. While looking for another lawyer, the other lawyers will laugh at you for having him in the first place. He is clearly not reputable, please save yourself. Having to go to court and spend thousands on an attorney is stressful enough. If I could give 0 stars, I would.

Edward Smith got the job when I needed it done. I knew he had a lot of other clients but he took me as a client anyways. I needed emergency custody orders as my child was a flight risk and he filed everything quickly as time was not on my side. Without Edward Smith's help, I would not have been able to see the favorable outcome that I was blessed to receive. Sometimes I couldn't get a hold of him and I would get very emotional and reactive, but Edward's personality focused on the work which needed to get done and just did it. I did my part when I needed to write statements or write out a timeline of events, which was difficult for me but very necessary. When push came to shove, Edward got to work and made things happen in the court while I made things happen on my end. I highly recommend Edward and is now a forever friend that I will always be grateful to. BIG MAHALO to Edward Smith for saving my ohana :)

Do not hire this guy… save your money and look for a new lawyer that actually helps you!!
