I’ve been an attorney for 20 years and know an attorney can be his or her own worst client. So when I had a minor business dispute with a vendor, I hired Ryan to handle it. it was settled in a few days on more favorable terms than I’d authorized. Great job, for a fee that was more than reasonable. I’d recommend Ryan to anyone.

My family came to Ryan with a fairly uncommon problem. We needed his help transferring the guardianship of an adult from one state to another and also from one co-guardian to a new co-guardian. Sounds simple right? Ryan does not specialize in this type of law (I don't think many do), but he didn't bat an eye. We hired Ryan, and he was able to find out everything he needed to make our complex request He filed everything in a timely manner to get us in front of a judge and to get our matter handled. His prices were so reasonable, we felt compelled to give him a bonus for his stellar performance. I would choose him a thousand times.

Called Ryan to get some advice for an estate with no signed will. We spoke for about 45 minutes and he took a real interest in my situation. He laid out expected fees and other costs and asked great questions and relayed a similar circumstance he dealt with and it made my decision easy.

I was referred to Ryan by a friend of the family who said that he was extremely hard-working, diligent, and cared about his clients. In the mere months it took for Ryan to handle my son’s extremely complicated criminal matters, he performed directly in-line with what I expected given his reputation. Ryan visited my son in Jail on a weekly basis until he completed the plea negotiations and finalized all of the cases my son had pending against him. On a few occasions, he even made deposits into my son’s commissary account! In total, my son had 4 open cases against him and was looking at a total of over 40 years in prison if he was found guilty of the crimes he was accused of. Now, I will not sit here and say that my son is a saint, he has made mistakes, but none that should have cost him more than 40 years of his life! Ryan was quick to diagnose my son’s real underlying problem, his psychological disorder, which left untreated lead to his addiction to narcotics, and that lead him to commit crimes to support his addiction. Somehow, when it was all said and done, Ryan was able to make a deal with the District Attorney in which my son would only serve a maximum of 4 years before being transferred to a year-long in-patient drug addiction counseling and rehabilitation program, which was the most important thing my son needed in my opinion. Ryan worked for months on my Son’s case, and he kept me up to date the entire time. When the sentence was finally entered, and everything was finalized, I asked Ryan what I owed him and he told me that the retainer payments I made were enough to cover his fees, and that he felt I had been put through enough. This is not a lawyer like any other I have ever heard of…truly a unique and caring person. If you can get him to take your case, you are surely in great hands!

I hired Ryan Heron to have some POA documents drawn up for me in regards to my father. He was conveniently located right here in Athens, Ga! I can be a very inquisitive person with lots of questions, but he was able to answer every question and ease my mind. Not only was he kind, but also very understanding and patient. I have seen Ryan outside of the office in passing and he is the same friendly face I met with today. His concern the entire time was making sure my dad's requests were met and that the upcoming inevitable circumstance moves along a little more smoothly. Thanks Ryan!!

Ryan Heron has outstanding professionalism and understanding for his clients as well as potential clients. He takes the time to get every detail as well as asking what his clients plan to achieve. His personable and charismic character leaves clients at ease knowing that he is always working for them 24/7. His main goal for our family was to “help” not to just win, but to help especially being that our child’s safety was involved. I highly recommend Ryan Heron for any case you may have. My dad was admitted to the hospital and scheduled to have emergency heart surgery. He wanted to have a will made, just in case. Ryan came tot he hospital on a moments notice and after consulting with my dad and myself, drew up the will that my dad wanted. He is an excellent attorney who cares about the needs of his client. He is conscientious and pays attention to detail. And just as important, recognizes who his client is and is not. While I was there for the conversation, I made several suggestions. To my great satisfaction, the only suggestions from me that made it into the document, were the ones my dad said he wanted. I was very pleased to see that even though I was present and involved, the only say that mattered was my dad's. I am very impressed.

Ryan is one amazing lawyer! Not only is he professional, but also personable and really takes your feelings into account and doesn’t just see you as another case. Even though Ryan is based in Georgia, and I from New York, he still reached out to someone he knew here in NY to help me with my dispute. Other lawyers had brushed me off and didn’t want to waste their time, but Ryan went above and beyond to help me and was so prompt with communication and replies. When the case was finally resolved, and the sum of what I ended up getting was small, he said he wouldn’t be charging me for his time and considered his work pro bono. My case went on for months and there was lots of going back and forth, but not once did he ever hesitate in helping me and went up against big companies to make sure the wrong that was done to me was corrected. If another issue ever occurred and I needed help, without a doubt I would go straight to Ryan. If you want someone to help you who actually cares about you and doesn’t just see dollar signs, look no further because he is your guy!

Ryan is a very aggressive and dedicated lawyer! He makes himself available to you whenever you need. He bends over backwards to help his clients. He is representing me in one matter, I MENTIONED another issue, in less than 2 hours Ryan had it resolved. This was a matter I had spoken to 2 other attorneys about, they were more expensive (In one case, Ryan cost me 1/10th of what one attorney wanted to charge me. That attorney knew me and discounted his rate even at that!). This was a possible criminal matter and the others got in no hurry to deal with it. Ryan CRUSHED it in just a couple hours! How could you complain about that? I love his attitude, his motivation, his dedication, and his honesty! The most driven lawyer I have ever met and I have been in the legal field (Not as a lawyer) myself for over 10 years, so I know more than a few attorneys in Athens. If you want results, Ryan should be your attorney!

First time using Ryan,but he does a super job and takes care of all of the legal formalities. He also rewrote my tenant lease which I think is superb,If I ever need a attorney again I will definitely use him,also he makes you feel at ease not having to worry about anything. He has a great personality,knows what he is doing, and I am glad someone told me about Ryan.

Ryan handled a personal injury case for me. Our vehicle was totaled in the accident and I had to be taken to the Emergency Room in an ambulance. Even though the other driver was clearly at fault, his insurance company did not want to pay for my physical therapy. Ryan was able to get them to no only cover that, but also the GAP in the value of my vehicle that was totaled AND a nice little remainder for me for my pain and suffering. He kept me informed on the status of my case every step of the way and ended up getting way more than I thought was possible. Don't let his lack of experience deter you, Ryan is a great young lawyer.
