I recently had the pleasure of working with Anthony Shallat at Fisher Hudson. I sought Anthony's legal expertise in drafting contracts and agreements specific to my LLC. Anthony was very prompt, professional and listened to my wants/needs. He completed the first draft of the documents prior to the date we had agreed upon and consequently made several adjustments to ensure all documents suited my needs. We recently completed Last Will and Testament, Living Will, and Power of Attorney documents at Fisher and Hudson. This was the first attempt at completing these documents, and honestly the first time since the 1980s that we needed to use the services of a law firm. Throughout the process the staff, and especially attorney Anthony Shallat, were extremely helpful in guiding us through the complexities of completing the documents, but in a comprehensive way that enabled us to understand why and how each component worked and why they were necessary. The process was relatively straightforward due to this assistance, and we greatly appreciate this, as obviously preparation of and understanding these documents is not an everyday occurrence, and certainly not intuitive.

William Young represented my son for some very serious charges of a nature that, historically, are virtually impossible to defend against. Other lawyers either did not want to touch it or charge far more to represent an almost certainly losing case. After first speaking with us, Mr. Young was kind enough to follow his intuition and accepted our desperate case while doing his best to work with what we could afford (which wasn't much, to be sure!) The prosecutors were ruthless - demanding bail so high as to guarantee we could not afford it and ensure my innocent son would spend the next 18-24 months in jail throughout the trial. Mr. Young came up with a defense and was able to acquire proofs to support our position that he was innocent so well that it was obvious to the State that they were wasting their time in trying to "railroad" us that shortly before the trial they dismissed the charges! In my own youth, for not being able to afford to defend myself I've been "railroaded" (more than once!) by being given overworked Public Defenders with 1/10th the budget who can't/don't even open the case folder until we're all up in front of the judge and forced to plead guilty because of ludicrous bail and bond amounts and spending all the time in jail for me to prove i was innocent would cost my job.. I was so relieved that we had William Young whose ability and skill are matched by his compassionate understanding and willingness to fight hard for the 'everyday person' who lives paycheck to paycheck but still deserves JUSTICE!

Mr. Young functions with integrity and professionalism seldom seen in others. Through a peculiarity in state law some three years ago we were unable to gain closure in a legal situation. Mr Young notified us only recently of his deep felt conviction that we could now gain favorable closure in that situation through the law. He had not forgotten us and has been instrumental in bringing about a complete and favorable resolution. We put our trust in him and he went above and beyond on our behalf.
