*edit*- sadly, the amazing lawyer who handled my case no longer works here. The lawyers who do work here have taken on some pretty "scum of the earth" clients. I no longer recommend this firm. Kershisnik law handled my divorce and custody case 4-5 years ago. Understandably, my stress was high, I was raw, I was upset, I was on edge and they handled everything so gently and were very supportive of me in every way. I am so thankful for their perfect balance of professionalism and truly caring about the individual and their feelings, their needs, they are awesome. I called back today, needing some documents from my case, and found that both the lawyer who handled my case, and the assistant I worked with are no longer there. Thankfully, the woman who answered the phone and helped me out was every bit as helpful and compassionate as the type of person I've come to be confidant that I will find working there. I cannot thank this firm enough, and they should definitely be the first call made from anyone who needs counsel in their areas of expertise.
