James quickly worked at knowing us and earning our trust. He has a way of listening and showing empathy when someone needs that. We were going thru a tough time and not sure what to do legally and James was Awesome start to finish.

James Jacobson and his team helped me through a very difficult divorce. He was always responsive, courteous, proactive, and professional. James is also very fair about what he charges his clients and shows that he respects them. My total legal expenses were 1/4 what my ex spent, matching every legal maneuver toe-to-toe, initiating our own actions, and ultimately we prevailed. He's also a great guy that I now consider a friend.

I HIGHLY recommend Angela Sasser! She was so amazing and wonderful! She was extremely professional and kept us advised of every stage of our adoption process! She represented us perfectly with the judge and had all legal paperwork prepared timely and completely and I could tell the judge was very pleased with all that she provided! Her office was super timely and paid attention to detail and provided us with the absolute best experience we could have asked for!

I will admit I was very upset with the allegations made against my husband; when I initially set down and wrote my review. Jacobson reached out and threatened to sue me for deformation of character this afternoon so, I will try and convey my experience in a different tone. I have had a lot of successful experiences with lawyers up until this point. I am not upset that Jacobson no longer wanted to represent my husband. I had been telling him for almost a month that I thought he should obtain a new attorney because the experience he was having was not what I would consider normal. I am thankful to Jacobson for asking my husband to retain a new attorney because Jeremy would have continued to give this attorney a chance even though he was feeling unsupported and uninformed. I also understand that personal conflicts between people happen. I do not feel that Jacobson was open, clear, upfront, professional, empathetic, or understanding through our experience with him. When you are fighting a family dispute emotions are high and stakes are even higher and it requires everyone to have a high level communication and even more important understanding of what is happening. I believe there were multiple occasions that the firm let the ball drop in our case. (the only part of the firm that was on top of communicating was the billing department in our experience) I felt that they never took any responsibility and never validated concerns coming from us. It has and still feels like gaslighting and power plays. ​There are very few careers that hold power over their clients being an attorney is one of those. We felt helpless while we pleaded to just understand what was happening our case. Every time, we asked for more information, they would respond that they had provided all the information. After paying our final bill (on time and by the due date) 24 articles were uploaded into the portal. 24. None of those articles were known to us. I am not sure what made Jacobson lose trust in my husband but they had long lost ours, but when you invest financially into a case like this starting over is costly and changing attorneys can look bad on your case. It feels like a rock and a hard place. In my business, I go over all documents line by line with my clients before sending them over for signatures. I even email after important conversations any critical information, just in case they are stressed and maybe not retaining all the information. All of these actions are done to make sure the client can speak intelligently about what they are agreeing to. After not seeing the articles being presented in hearings and not receiving updates after multiple requests. We were left in the position of having to obtain those motions from the court. We were pretty surprised by some of the articles and still today have confusion over what happened in the hearings we were unable to attend. Communication is a fundamental piece in a working relationship between professionals and it was drastically lacking in our case.

They were attentive to answering all my questions, and I had a lot. Angela was very professional and yet could explain what was happening in a way that was easy to understand. I definitely recommend
