As my lawyer Doug was very aggressive and very proud of how combative he was with the judge and the other lawyer. His pitbull antics actually made my situation much worse and ended up costing me far more money and stretching out the case much longer than it had to be. He made the judge mad on several occasions because he thought he was smarter than the judge. He made the attorney on the other side mad because he thought he was smarter than the other attorney. I filed a bar complaint against him and have thought about suing him for malpractice. He made my situation much worse, not better. I should have hired anyone but this guy.
