Kelso was a voice of reason at a very tumultuous time in my life. He facilitated my divorce and a custody agreement for my girls. He is open minded, fair and considerate. He is very knowledgeable and keeps you informed.

I walked into Kelso's office trying to be professional, this being my first time hiring an attorney. I ended up crying like a fool as I told him my story. Kelso was so supportive, tissues ready and on hand. He was supportive throughout the whole process, making it clear that I was the boss and he was there to help me. My divorce ended up being fairly quick and painless. I did my paperwork, then sat back and Kelso and Tara did the rest. I've already recommended them to a friend, and I recommend them to you now.

Haghe was nothing if not helpful when my family went to see him to see whether he could help their situation. Very unprofessional in his approach and completely unhelpful. Not recommended if you are interested in winning a case. If he didn't feel adequate for the task he could have just said so instead of trying to lord it over his client and behave in a demeaning fashion. Good to know upfront so that we can find someone who cares to win. One star is one too many.....

Straightforward consultation and did not steer me to waste my money but helped me figure out what to do with my situation with the least amount of costs. If you happen to ever find yourself in any sort of family law predicament in the North Idaho area, you need Kelso & Tara. They fought so hard for me for over SEVEN months through temporary custody, 2 rounds of mediation, pre trial & trial. I remember the first day I called Kelso. I had called every single lawyer I could find on google. Although many offered to take my case, something told me to keep looking. I called Kelso, left a frantic & convoluted voicemail & within 20 minutes he called me back. As soon as he started talking, I knew I found the lawyer I wanted to fight for me. He asked when I could come down, I said “how about in 30 minutes?” & the rest is history. Tara & Kelso are the perfect mix of funny, calm & honest. He’ll tell you he’s an “odds man”. & he is damn good with his success rate in those odds. They don’t waste your time or money. They don’t always tell you want you want to hear but what you NEED to hear. & if you are capable of listening then you will not be led astray. Kelso is a master of gauging peoples reactions. By people, I mean judges & he is quick on his feet to pivot & adapt to whatever is thrown at him. Be honest with everything. Own your mistakes, they aren’t there to judge you but to truly help you.
