Between Taylor, Damian, and the paralegals. The firms is very professional with making sure you are fairly represented, and do everything to fight for the utmost of what you deserve. I even lost my temper a few times as i am very imparient at no fault of thier actions. They sure put up with me. You can go to one of those commercial attorneys but, I don't think you'll get that level of personal care. I highly recommend this firm.

The Advocates helped us with a very difficult inury and property damage lawsuit. Kelby was very kind and kept communication up about our case..
Brittany was truly amazing though and was in constant contact, keeping us updated and working with very difficult insurance adjusters to get us the most money in our pockets.
If you are in an accident in Idaho, please call this office! I cannot recommend them highly enough.

I just want to state that the professionalism and kindness that Katy showed our family through this entire process was exemplary. What was a trying experience for my children was made so much easier by the hard work and empathy Katy displayed. I cannot recommend them enough. They gave us closure and we are so grateful.

I would not recommend them if they were the only legal firm on the planet. They try to hook you up with caregivers from out of state which are very bad and could not even figure out how to schedule an appointment. When treatment can't go any further, it takes them months to gather any bills. They tell you what they are shooting for in a settlement and then it keeps going down. Once they settle they give you a form to sign (after the fact) and the settlement is lowered again with no explanation. Once you sign, they get their money , and yours, and do not release yours. After that, they do not respond to phone calls, text messages, or emails. They will not even tell you when or if they will release your money. Once the attorney received his money (and did not release mine) he stated more than once that I should fire him and go get another to finish the deal. That attorney is also the one that changed the numbers and thought I would not notice. When I questioned the form he required me to sign he refused to release the money owed to me and that is when he stated that if I didn't like it I could go get another attorney and he would not release the money. They STILL have not released the money.
Update:
They did release the money.
As for “due diligence” from the very start, they made promises and commitments and never followed through. They had doctors that they normally work with but after months of not being able to even get an appointment, I went to my normal doctors and VA. I took care of ALL my medical bills and physical therapy for which they took a HUGE percentage for doing ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. My insurance covered EVERYTHING.
I never even knew who my attorney was until just before the settlement. The person I had been communicating with turned out to be a paralegal.
From day one, I told them that I wanted my Miracle Ear hearing aids (appx. $9000 out of my pocket) replaced which were lost in the accident. They assured me several times that would be included. They did not and at the end it, they came out of my portion of settlement.
It took them months to just gather bills for treatment.
When the settlement came it was very low for what I went through. I still have severe back and neck pain and constant migraines along with no feeling in my right leg below the knee.
It was obvious that these attorneys did not want to go to court.
Once the settlement was reached, I had to keep contacting them to get a status. After they received their check, they still did not contact me. I had to call them.
They sent me a form to sign, which was NEVER discussed, stating I was responsible for any and all subsequent bills that may pop up after. They also CHANGED the amount of money I was supposed get, AFTER the fact, WITHOUT discussing it with me or so much as an explanation. I guess they figured I would not notice. I showed the document to an attorney that I know and they recommended I not sign it. When I stated that to Mr. Monk he immediately stated that we were done and that I needed to go hire “that attorney” to finish the deal but they would still get their portion of the settlement, regardless. He also stated that I had no choice but to sign it because they would not release my portion of the money until I did. He stated more than once that I needed to get a different attorney. I tried to contact them for 3 days after. I unwillingly signed their form. I tried to contact them after, just to find out if they sent the check, with no response. I sent text messages, emails, called their office and left messages and left a message with their answering service. It was not until I sent highlighted portions of Idaho’s Rules of conduct for attorneys that he responded. When Mr. Monk finally responded, he stated that he told everyone in the office not to communicate with me and that I was harassing them. He stated that I only tried to contact him 2 hours prior. I documented each time I attempted to contact him and have records showing it.

Would definitely recommend the Advocates. Kelby worked hard to get us what we needed. Loved working with Brittany. She was always very helpful and would answer all of our questions, no matter how small they were. Explained everything every step of the way. I’m sure we weren’t her only clients, but it always felt like we were top priority.
I hope we never need their service again, but if we do, I will be calling back.
