I had been sentenced to the department of corrections because the victim was not completely truthful on my original sentencing. The judge said the case so that he can reconsider the sentence. My original attorney told me I would lose. I knew about John Stobbs' reputation as one of the best criminal defense lawyers in the St. Louis area. As soon as I met with John, I knew I had made the right decision and changing lawyers. I can't believe how hard he worked for me to show the judge that I should receive probation and not prison time. Every call I made John returned within one day. He truly cared about my case. I felt as if someone was actually on my side instead of telling me I didn't have a chance. John was very patient, professional, and communicated with me. I learned later on that this was the first time in nearly 30 years that I just changed his mind on a motion to reconsider sentencing. I felt like John gave me my life back and I would highly recommend him to anyone!
