I was referred to Moskovic & Associates by a friend of mine who used them for his divorce, and he was very happy with their services. I presented Alex Moskovic with the difficulty of my post-decree issues. My ex was in contempt of court on the Judgment of Dissolution for a handful of issues: the settlement of the marital home (which my ex was refusing to settle with me), money owed to me for paying off marital debt, and setting up child support. Alex's associate, Garrett Miller, handled the brunt of the case with my ex. Garrett hand his hands full having to deal with my very defiant and difficult ex-husband (who was pro-se), but he did so with expertise, persistence, and conviction. The muddiness of the case, caused solely by my ex-husband who was on the brink of getting arrested for contempt, required Garrett to make multiple follow-up contacts with a noncommunicative ex, go though several levels of orders, as my ex would come to court not meeting the standards of the previous agreed order, or in other cases, had to redraft orders more than once to acquiesce my ex’s position to help continue to move the case forward. I knew going into this level of post-decree litigation, that it was going to be very problematic with my ex. In a word, my ex was one of the most challenging people they had to deal with. With that said, Garrett met and exceeded the challenge presented to him, and he represented me and my best interests with determination, compassion, and skillfulness. Garrett Miller has a great command of the laws, and his proficiency and ability to navigate through such a laborious case was beyond my expectations. I feel so blessed that Garrett was able help me through my case, get all issues resolved well in my favor, and the results he fought for were beyond my expectations. I would highly recommend Garrett Miller at Moskovic and Associates in a heartbeat to anyone in need of legal counsel in domestic matters.
