I hired David for a very complex case. He didn't judge me, he showed empathy, and made every part of the process extremely easy to understand. He listens to your story; concerns, offers not just realistic, but, also logical advice, and doesn't try to persuade you into something that you aren't comfortable with or don;t completely understand. Not only did David provide exceptional legal counsel, he also provided me with extensive knowledge and prepared me every step of the way. David is very intelligent and is on your side, he puts forth a lot of extra effort & I HIGHLY recommend him to anyone seeking legal assistance. n late December of 2017, a loved one was arrested in Aurora Ill. Having been a Police Officer and Homicide Detective for the past 28 years in Michigan, I know the importance of having a spotless record for future employment and career advancement. I found David Lee and my search for an attorney ended. having worked with attorneys my whole career and having interacted with competent and incompetent attorneys, i knew immediately that David had the experience, knowledge, understanding and down to earth sensitivity needed to handle the case. Six weeks later the case was resolved and the outcome could not have been any better. Take my advice and hire the attorney a Police Officer would hire for his loved one. David is absolutely the best.

I hired David on as my attorney for a custody case that should have never gone as far as it did. I was served with papers and 6 weeks later, it was on trial. The other attorney put a rush on it, trying to complete the case before I could hire an attorney. I found David online and he seemed to have good reviews. After meeting with 3 attorneys, I hired him. His first day on was pretrial. He couldn’t believe things were as rushed as they were. 2 months later, the trial ended with the opposing counsel being directed out- a task not easily accomplished and a verdict that is rarely given. David was always straight forward and honest, which I appreciated. I never felt like steam was being blown up my “you know where” like many attorneys. He was also great about allowing a payment plan and staying in contact. All around a good experience.

A week before our wedding my fiancé was pulled over and arrested for a few unpaid parking tickets. Our wedding was out of town and we had 250 people coming. I hired David Lee. I hired David In response to a DUI that I had received leading into the summer months. It is important to mention I am also a CDL holder. Attorney Lee is a very honest and approachable person, he is there to help you but will lay things out for you realistically so you know what to expect. He helped me through the court process and even traveled 2 hours out of his way to represent me in a different county. He clarified the consequences and kept me aware of timetables so that I would have the least stress possible and be able to put this mistake behind me. He is a dedicated attorney and someone to be counted on down the road for anyone in need of clarification or defense.

We got the best possible outcome regarding our case because of David. No hidden agendas. All cards in the table with honesty and compassion. A benefit to using David is he's a former prosecutor. He knows the judges and current prosecutors very well. This can help during plea bargaining. David cares about his clients on a personal level.
