I’ve been in a tough spot not being able to work due to my knee injury. Was so far behind on bills, and was almost about to lose my home. I contact my attorney for help and he told me to research and see if I can find someone who can lend me a hand. I did my research and found Blue Fix Lending company. As soon as I called, Mr. John answered. I told him my situation, he contacted my attorney and said he can help me. Within 2 hours of me speaking with him, my account was funded and I was able to get myself back on track! Thanks so much Blue Fox for helping me. I most definitely will refer this company to my friends and family.

I was in a tight spot. I had been out of work for 9 weeks. My savings had been used to cover bills and I desperately needed to purchase a car as my vehicle was totaled due to being hit by an uninsured driver. I had went on line and did some research. Blue Fox had excellent reviews. I called and the call was picked up by a live person!! No computer generated intro of having to hit buttons. I was treated with respect, my calls were returned quickly when I asked questions. I received text messages when I needed to sign papers. I received text messages when the transfer was sent. It was an amazing experience. One I dreaded doing and they very much surprised me. I now have my new car and I have and lending institution I will use again! They are a 5 star company!!! Thank you Blue Fox!! Traci

Had a Mr Accola work there and took on several peoples cases and collected several thousands of dollars from people then to only leave the firm and PURSUE MINISTRY to become a pastor oh my god how insane right???? How do you think GOD will feel about you basically STEALING from people who need it and then to not even help them with their case other than draft some paperwork to get it started so it seemed like you did something and then say you will set them up with “a different firm” and new lawyer that won’t really help you either and not schedule your mediation or let the mediator know your info to get in contact with you even though you’ve been messaging said new lawyer about it. 🤡 and then when the mediator finally contacts you they say they’ve been trying to contact you since September 17th… but you have NO missed calls voicemails or emails from them. And then they say they need 250$ immediately to schedule your mediation and all they had to offer was a “sorry” at this Davis location. They do NOT CARE about you or your very REAL life and they just want your money.

3
Practical and composed approach during challenging legal processes
“The excellent firm provided valuable assistance. Highly recommended for family law matters. Their composed, professional, and practical approach is a source of immense comfort during challenging legal processes.”
Cons
1
Lack of effort and attentiveness from the lawyer
“I am disgusted after hiring Kaitlyn. I feel that she did not care or put forth a good effort in my case. Sickening is the way that I've felt after hiring her. Wish I would've went with my gut and found other counsel.”
2
Ineffective representation and lack of progress in the case
“DO NOT HIRE this firm in St. Louis or Belleville. If you're looking for a legal ally in divorce, this IS NOT the firm for you. If you need assurance about what to do and what not to do along the way, this IS NOT the firm for you.”
3
Lack of transparency and communication from the legal team
“You will never get court documents sent to you and you will never get copies of your court orders unless asked. You will never know what services your money is going towards.”

At our free consult, he ran a check on my name and found out my husband had tried to file on me out of state but it was dismissed. He then provided me with papers to file for divorce before I could even pay the retainer. As soon as I got the money together I hired him and I have not regretted it once. With him representing me, I have that peace of mind knowing my kids are protected legally.

John at Hipskind & McAninch, LLC, has been such a pleasure to work with. We’d been dealing with our case for over a year but he was very communicative the entire time. He kept us updated often and made sure we understood everything that was happening during the entire process. We will definitely be recommending him to our friends and family!

I have known PK for about 12 years now.i would say I am exceptionally pleased with His ability.what was amazing was the honesty, integrity, and moral individual He is.He took on all the emotional baggage of mine through a divorce, and became a true friend and confidant. He has to make a living and get paid but anyone who knows Him,knows that is secondary.First and foremost was his concern for me and my children's well being. He is very intelligent as well as professional.I would recommend PK to any friend or family, and I have a number of times. My review falls short of the character and genuine good man that PK is.I could truly go on and on.

Can a Lawyer Represent Me in Courts Outside of Belleville, Illinois?

Whether a lawyer can represent you in courts outside of your city or state depends on their licensure and the jurisdiction of the court:

  • Within the Same State:
Lawyers licensed in a particular state can typically practice anywhere within that state, including all cities and counties. They can represent you in both state and federal courts located in that state.
  • Outside of Their Licensed State:
If your case is in a different state, the lawyer must be licensed in that state to represent you. However, there are exceptions:
    • Pro Hac Vice Admission: An out-of-state lawyer can request special permission to represent a client in a specific case in another state. This requires filing a motion with the court and often working in conjunction with a local attorney.
    • Federal Courts: If your case is in federal court, a lawyer licensed in any state may be able to represent you, provided they are admitted to practice in that particular federal court.
  • International Representation:
For cases outside the United States, different rules apply, and the lawyer may need to comply with the foreign country's legal requirements or collaborate with local counsel.

It's important to discuss your specific situation with the lawyer to determine if they can represent you in the desired jurisdiction and what steps may be necessary to do so.

How to Check the Credibility of a Lawyer

Before hiring a lawyer, it's crucial to verify their credibility and ensure they're qualified to handle your case:

  • Verify Their License:
Check with your state's bar association to confirm the lawyer is licensed and in good standing. Most state bar websites have an online directory for this purpose.
  • Experience and Specialization:
Ensure the lawyer specializes in the area of law relevant to your case. Review their website, professional profiles, and case history.
  • Disciplinary Record:
Look up any history of disciplinary actions or complaints through the state bar association's records.
  • Client Reviews and Testimonials:
Read reviews on legal directories like Avvo, Martindale-Hubbell, Google, or Yelp to gauge client satisfaction and experiences.
  • Professional Memberships:
Membership in professional organizations or specialty bar associations can indicate a commitment to their field and adherence to high ethical standards.
  • Awards and Recognitions:
Honors from reputable organizations reflect expertise and a positive reputation in the legal community.
  • Consultation Assessment:
Use the initial consultation to evaluate their communication skills, responsiveness, and willingness to address your concerns.
  • Ask for References:
A credible lawyer should be willing to provide references from past clients who can speak to their abilities and professionalism.

What Should I Prepare for My First Consultation?

To make the most of your initial meeting with a lawyer, come prepared with:

  • Relevant Documents:
Bring all documents related to your case, such as:
    • Contracts or agreements
    • Correspondence (emails, letters, texts)
    • Legal notices or court papers
    • Financial records (if applicable)
    • Evidence (photos, videos, receipts)
  • Written Summary:
Prepare a concise written summary of your situation, including key dates, events, and parties involved. This helps the lawyer quickly understand the context.
  • List of Questions:
Write down any questions you have about your case, the legal process, fees, or the lawyer's experience.
  • Financial Information:
If your case involves financial matters, bring relevant documents like pay stubs, tax returns, bank statements, or invoices.
  • Contact Information:
Provide details of any witnesses or other parties relevant to your case, including their names and contact information.
  • Personal Identification:
Bring a valid photo ID for verification purposes.
  • Pen and Notebook:
Take notes during the consultation to remember important points discussed.
  • Budget Constraints:
Be ready to discuss your budget and any financial limitations so the lawyer can provide appropriate guidance on fees and payment options.
  • Openness and Honesty:
Be prepared to discuss your case candidly. Full disclosure allows the lawyer to give accurate advice and anticipate potential challenges.
