It took a bit of time and the Corona virus outbreak and subsequent quarantine can be blamed for a majority of that. However, I am really happy with the work Kevin Sanborn and Mark Johnson did. They really helped me out with my DUI and had an answer to every question of mine.

I traveled down to the Bloomington-Normal area to see a relative play basketball for his Senior Night at Wesleyan. After the game and ceremony we went out to celebrate and ended up at a bar in the downtown area. It was a quiet night until my boyfriend and I were suddenly arrested by the Bloomington Police without being given a reason or told what was going on. I have never been arreseted before and found myself in handcuffs and told I was arrested for resisiting arrest eventhough I was never asked my name or told why I was in handcuffs. It was a total shock to me. The next day, I called Johnson Law and spoke with a very professional woman who took all of the details from my incident and passed them along to Doug Johnson. I had an appointment to meet with Doug the very next day (Monday) and I reviewd all of the details of my arrest with him. Doug calmly assured me that my arrest was something that he was wiling to help me fight in court and he felt that my arrest, specifically, was unjustified. Over the following 2 weeks, Doug replied to all of my emails and phone calls with urgency and great care. I never felt like I was just another client to Doug, he truly made me feel like he always had his finger on the pulse of my case and he has great attention to detail which I believe were the reasons that Doug was able to see my case get dropped by the state before it even went infront a judge. Doug, you will never understand how much your professional demeanor and genuine care for your clients means. Lawyers often get a bad reputation but you shine as a bright spot and as an exception to that stigma. There are people like me out there who have never been arrested and need someone who will not rest fighting for what's right untl justice is served.
