got my self into trouble got charged with a felony, while pending a felony. the state wanted jail time, brendan was able to get me probation no jail time, then I got another felony while on probation I was able to get off probation with no jail time. this law firm is top tear from the paralegals to the attorneys. they don't judge you they just work hard to keep there clients out of jail and they do so I highly recommend this law firm I wish I could give 6 stars

Johnson Law group out of Bloomington is someone I highly recommend. In giving advice, they steer their clients down the high road. I feel sincere in saying that he was looking out for my son’s best interest and he earned our respect and trust. I can’t stress enough that Mark is the best! Very attentive, nice, and my son’s case turned out better than I could’ve hoped for! My son walked away with his freedom and is able to begin his life again!!! I prayed and then searched the internet for hopefully the best for our situation which was a VERY publicized and I am very glad I did, I will be sending everyone I know to Johnson Law group from now on!

The Johnson Law Group represented my nephew in the appeal of a DUI conviction. Mr. Johnson and his staff kept me informed every step of the way, and answered all of my questions with direct and professional responses. Best law firm around if you ever need them. They put so much effort in to make sure their client gets out of tough situations. Super efficient, quick and dedicated to their work. Mark Johnson was my attorney 4 months ago and now he’s family. The whole staff is very co-operative and put a lot of hard work to make the process quick. I recommend them 10/10. Only law firm who is not all about your money. I highly recommend hiring Mark if you ever need him.

Resident of Illinois. Stationed in North Carolina. Engaged with this law firm and Brendan Bukalski in June of 2020. The consultation was free and at that time I informed Mr. Bukalski of my situation. Mr. Bukalski said he had a great deal of experience with working with individuals in my position and that he was confident he would be able to get my license released. I was pretty confident in his ability and put $2500 down as a retainer. He sent me documents to complete and they were completed in a timely manner. He did not start 'actually' start working my case until early January. By the end of January I received notification that he could not help me after having an "informal" meeting with an officer in Springfield. I requested a phone call to discuss his notification and that did not happen until two weeks after. At our last call, we discussed him sending money back or the possibility of him holding the money for when I do become eligible. Mr. Bukalski said he would speak with his partners to discuss possibly giving me my money back. We were supposed to have a follow-up call in another two weeks to discuss their response. That did not happen. I received a bill and a check for $500. First, not receiving a call back to discuss charges/money to be reimbursed was very unprofessional. Second, the bill I received was overpriced. It costs $250 for an hour phone call, $63 to draft an email, $25 to receive documents from clients, $125 for any file review, $10 for leaving a message to be received. Third, I checked my phone call records and they do not line up with what I was billed for. Five minute phone calls were rounded up to hour long phone calls. Overall, a very unprofessional and shady experience.

Johnson's Law Group is an excellent law firm to work with, especially involving immigrates. They are very professional with outstanding communication skills. Within the company, they are also knowledgeable with positive work ethics. I spoke with Mark Johnson regarding the tragic and stressful situation on our family the moment their office had open. His office got started on our case right away. Brendan Bukalski worked on our case, which was going to be a challenge in the eyes of others and had a history of poor outcomes. Brendan stayed motivated and determined through-out our case. He exceeded our expectations. We wanted an attorney who would put effort into our case, and that is precisely what Brendan gave us. He kept good communication with our immigration attorney as well as us. The outcome of our case would determine the rest of our lives and potentially have meant separation by country. He strived high, and the case outcome will not cause our family to be separated.

Johnson’s Law Group will get the job done! Even when you think they aren’t working, believe me they are. We worked with Nikki Cox, Mr. Mark Johnson and Brendan Bukalski. They explained what was going on and respected my son’s privacy by making sure things were in order before discussing his case even with me. They worked with our family from the initial phone call until his case was over. My son was facing serious allegations with prison time but Brendan did whatever he does to get the state to agree to terms that wouldn’t equate to a prison sentence. Their services aren’t cheap, I was well aware of that fact before going to them. How much is your freedom or record worth to you? I would say, my first phone call with Mr. Johnson left me with this. “Your son needs a lawyer not a public defender. Two years is big difference than eight.” He made that comment after speaking to me and looking at my son’s charges. Unfortunately, I knew from past experiences with the public defenders office he was telling the truth. As much as I appreciate their service I pray we never have to use them again. If you find yourself or a family member in a bind and you need a lawyer, look no further!!! Be patient because it’s process.
