My husband had previously used Mr. Skinner for a DUI case so I was already aware of his ability. I came to him for a child support issue and once again he proved to be the best lawyer for the job. He was able to get me back child support and also got the court to enforce some other provisions on my ex. I had used another lawyer in the past, but it didn't end well. Mr. Skinner was able to do more in 3 months than my previous lawyer did in almost a year. I would definitely recommend him!

I made the terrible mistake of driving while drunk (which led to a car accident), and I found myself with a DUI, a suspended license and several other legal problems. After getting recommendations from different people for various lawyers, I decided to go with Mr. Skinner. He was EXTREMELY knowledgable with my type of case and not only agreed to help me, but also worked with me on establishing an affordable payment plan for his services. Mr. Skinner was able to work out a great plea deal for me which I thought wasn't possible. He even made sure to clearly explain things to me throughout the entire process. About two months ago, I contacted Mr. Skinner regarding an intellectual property dispute. Despite being incredibly busy, he agreed to see me last minute. Once at his office, he listened intently to the details of my particular situation. Although his stellar reputation had already preceeded him, he still managed to more than exceed my expectations. I called Steve about my Traffic Suspension and warrant. Within the hour, Steve arrived to the court house and handled everything quickly and to my satisfaction; warrant removed, fine only $110 and no need to return to court again. Awesome! He is very professional and personable.

Prior to meeting Attorney Skinner, I made a call to his office for an initial phone consultation regarding an automobile accident.  The rear of my car had been hit by someone who drove a van for a company.   After attempting to settle with the company on my own, I realized the damage done to my car and the injuries I sustained from the accident were not being sufficiently reimbursed.  I contacted Mr. Skinner and found him to be very well informed regarding my type of legal issue.  He had a great deal of knowledge to share with me and was able to answer every question regarding my case.  I was informed that an office visit would be necessary to further review my case and was instructed to bring certain documents to aid in the legal process.  Upon meeting Mr. Skinner, I found him to be very friendly and personable.  He reviewed what we initially covered in our phone consultation making certain any concerns I had were addressed.  He explained why certain documentation was needed for my case and was very helpful in explaining parts of my case that were unfamiliar to me.  Throughout the entire process, which thankfully was resolved sooner than was initially anticipated, Mr. Skinner kept me updated whenever necessary.  I am very grateful that Mr. Skinner was diligent in representing me and making certain I received a fair and just settlement.  

Steven Skinner is truly a Professional attorney, but also a great person. He stays on top of your legal matter and says and does what he can do. No big promises he can't keep. He calls back when he says he will and calls when he doesn't hear from you. You can tell he is well respected in the legal circle. I also found he is concerned about you as a person and just not another someone he has to deal with. That's why I titled this Great PERSON, because that is what he is first and then a first rate attorney.

After being misguided by my first lawyer, Steven was the second lawyer I hired after a consultation for a second opinion. I presented Steven with an intensive case involving harassment via cyberstalking, phone and US Mail where me and my family were the victims. He immediately advised me on usual outcomes and set proper expectations around options that involved me pursing justice alone and/or with him as my lawyer. Steven coached a testimony that laid a proper foundation of key evidence and a cross examination that revealed truth. The Judge was able to see through the defendant's shenanigans and there seemed to be an impression that the defending lawyer had an eye opener as well. Steven succeeded.
