My experience with Nicole Spicer was positive from start to finish. She was responsive, thorough, and honest in navigating complex child support issues. I would recommend this law firm to my friends and family

By the time you have to take the legal route in family matters, things are already emotionally charged and at a breaking point. The challenge of navigating the legal system is a whole other layer that's overwhelming when things are already falling apart. That's why when women I trust recommended the Law Office of Erin M. Wilson LLC, I didn't hesitate to call. I am so grateful for the professionalism and expertise of Erin Wilson and Emily Ruwe (who served as my counsel) and the full Wilson team. Not only was Emily a phenomenal advocate for me, she was responsive and helped us get through this process quickly. I don't know of a person who wants to find themselves in need of legal help with their family. I am glad that for women like me, the law offices of Erin Wilson was there to help me.

Horrible at her job

I’m deeply concerned with the experience I have had with Erin and her practice. If I could give her 0 stars I would. Erin constantly promotes herself as a strong advocate for the children but nothing about this has been about my child. Throughout every single interaction I’ve had with Erin she’s belittled, bullied and constantly put me down. As a teen mom who struggled for so long to leave her abuser it’s so disappointing and discouraging to see a individual in charge of making the best decision for our child act this way because of her own agenda. It’s very clear all Erin cares about is money as even after I’ve repeatedly asked for payment plans and explained how I’m a 19 year old trying my best to pay for my own lawyer and a GAL who does not care one bit about my child, but instead about being paid she still is sending emails asking for more and more money and will not consider what’s best for my child and reunifying my child with me who I raised alone for 10 month's unless she’s paid, unless I would like to pay 70$ a hour to have visits. Her actions and decisions are very clear and apparent that they do not prioritize the child's best interests. I STRONGLY recommend anyone considering using Erin and her practice to reconsider, her license and her practice should really be re evaluated as her decisions and professionalism are far from acceptable.

All my forms were full of errors: other people’s personal information(!) like a car (with license plates and all) I never even owned. Clearly an intern took a template, didn’t bother to check, and they invoiced me at the attorney rate. Their response was worse “I apologize for the errors. We do our best, but sometimes mistakes happen. WE WILL NOT CHARGE YOU FOR THE REVISION” dude charged me $400 for putting a form together and patted himself on the back because he didn’t charge me another $400 to CORRECT the mistakes his bad practice made?! That together with complete lack for urgency did it for me. I was out $1500 for absolutely nothing. Two forms you can get online full of someone else’s information.

If I could give Erin and her team a 0 this would have been it! She is promoting herself as she is acting in the best interests of children, but it’s never about the kids. It’s about her team and people like her to get her paycheck. Her behavior was unprofessional and deceitful, showing a complete disregard for both the child's needs and the trust of those she works with. Throughout our interactions, she was disengaged and unresponsive, neglecting crucial aspects of the child's care. She was pushing her initial agenda without taking into an account the changes that happened overtime. On top of this, she repeatedly made dubious requests for money, raising serious questions about her integrity. It's clear she is more interested in lining her own pockets than providing the necessary support and care. I strongly advise against involving her in any child-related responsibilities or financial matters. Her actions are not only unacceptable but also unethical, putting both the child and others at risk.

I am very disappointed with the way this individual handled her responsibilities regarding the child in her care. Her actions and decisions clearly did not prioritize the child's best interests. Throughout our interactions, she was unresponsive and seemed disengaged, often failing to address crucial concerns and needs. It was apparent that she lacked both the professionalism and compassion necessary for effectively supporting a child. Her lack of initiative and attention to detail left us feeling frustrated and worried about the child's well-being. I strongly recommend reconsidering her involvement in any child-related duties, as her current approach is far from acceptable.

I am deeply concerned about the experience we had with this individual. Her actions and attitude clearly demonstrated that she was not working in the best interest of the child involved. It was evident that her priorities were misplaced and that she lacked the necessary empathy and dedication required for such a role. Her approach was unprofessional and dismissive, showing little regard for the child's needs and well-being. We felt ignored and unsupported throughout the process. It's disheartening to encounter someone in this position who doesn't seem to understand the importance of their role. I strongly advise against entrusting her with any responsibilities related to children's welfare.

Disrespectful , money oriented , man hating individual who will do everything to separate kids from a father ! Return my trial retainer Erin Wilson , the only thing you can do is to SCAM your clients ! I’ve settled the case 4 month prior the trial and all Chicago will know that you scamming client big time . Stay away from her

Nicole Spicer for the win! Can’t say enough great things about this wonderful attorney who masterfully crafted a response to a parentage suit filed in bad faith that ultimately ended up getting dismissed. She is the kind of human being that makes a real difference in people’s lives. I am thankful I was represented by her.

A few months ago I was looking for an attorney that could assist me with the first step of the special immigrant juvenile status. Last week I successfully got my court order needed for the next step! Erin Wilson is an amazing attorney with an outstanding team. She was appointed as a GAL in our complicated and messy case. She did her detailed investigation in a short term. She was very focused, educated, understanding and she didn’t miss a single detail . Erin did everything possible and impossible for the best interest of a child. I really appreciate quick responses from the members of her team. Separately, I would like to say thank you to Olivia who was assisting with our case. Reasonable charges for the amazing work. Highly recommended to those parents who need professional support during the most challenging period in their life. Wish Erin Wilson and her team long years of productive work !!!
