While at work for a major telecom company I was involved in a motor vehicle accident. The company I work or wasn’t very responsive to my injuries and care. I was recommended to contact GWC. My initial experience was positive. I was assigned a work/comp attorney and a personal injury attorney. My dissatisfaction with GWC is based on the settlement stage. I was not expecting nor was I looking for a huge “payday” from my employer or the 21 year old insured driver that hit me. But I did endure a fair amount of pain and inconvenience of many doctor visits and physical therapy. I was looking for a fair and just settlement. GWC was able to obtain a settlement for me from my multi-billion dollar employer. I just received a check for $1.00 and was told I was lucky I didn’t have to pay any medical bills.... my response to this was “I guess I should have hired a lawyer”.
