I was in a head on collision in a company vehicle with my boss driving had severe trauma to my face and head had teeth knocked out permanent loss of feeling in my bottom lip after it was reattached from the accident I was told I would get a very large settlement and I could get a loan while I was waiting well let’s just say I got a loan for $1,500.00 and that was all I ever seen I was told all medical bills would be taken care of by the insurance company that did not happen either these guys are a joke save yourself the trouble and money and go somewhere else I would have been better off taking the money the insurance company offered me before I hired them I would not recommend them to anyone!!!! Vary dissatisfied

Merel Law Group was recommended by another lawyer who hired them. I figured if a lawyer trusts them for himself, they must be reliable. I worked with Melissa and Brad, whom were both professional, courteous, and competent. Melissa and Brad took over my case after I had been working with a different law group for almost one year. My case was unique and a bit unprecedented, but they were more than willing to work with me. They were able to have half of the case dismissed at their very first court appearance. They are not cheap. That being said they were worth every cent in my experience. Classic case of you get what you pay for in my opinion.

A firm that puts the client first! Jonathan & Melissa are GREAT! Both attorneys are compassionate and caring, truly give their all for their clients. As my ex tried to drag his feet on and push out the divorce; Jonathan kept pushing at each obstacle, continuing to move forward and not let it be an ongoing tribulation. I had been searching for legal assistance for a child support process I had started but had questions and needed help. In my search, I stumbled upon a website that gets you in contact with institutions you can get help from. I ended up being referred to Jonathan Merel by the Chicago Bar Association when I submitted a request for legal assistance for a $30.00 consultation fee. When he contacted me this morning, he was extremely rude and condescending as if he was being bothered by my request. He would not allow me to explain my situation and kept asking questions as if he was yelling at a kid who is not listening to an adult for instructions. I ended up telling him that I did not think he would be able to help me. He asked why and I just told him that I was not comfortable with him… He did not even let me finish my sentence, said “good luck to you”, and hung up the phone on me. That was the kind of service I was offered. For sure I will never come close to seeking legal assistance with anyone related to this firm. Awful service! Rating scale needs to add negative stars, that's what he deserves.
