All child support cases are difficult, especially if you're the father. In April 2016 I was going through an unwanted, very toxic divorce. Things looked very bad for me, financially and otherwise. The attorney I had at the time told me I “better get used to eating Ramen noodles and hot dogs”. What?! On the advice of a professional counselor I was seeing at the time I called Bryan Wilson. I did not expect much because I thought nothing could be done, but I wanted a second opinion. It was one of the best moves I have ever made in my life. Bryan immediately went to work on my case and was able to very quickly achieve favorable results in court for me, much to the surprise and chagrin of my ex wife and her attorney. He continued to work on my behalf until a final settlement was reached 17 months later. The settlement was fair and easy to live with. Considering what my ex wife was trying to do to me the settlement was a big win for me. I was treated with professionalism, courtesy, and respect throughout. The office staff were always polite and helpful. I felt as if I had a real team in my corner, fighting for me and ready for whatever came. Brian and the team at Kogut-Wilson were exceptional in the handling of my divorce. While it was relatively uncomplicated and generally amicable, there are always tensions which have the opportunity to get exacerbated; this did not happen given Brian's calm, cool and collected temperament. Their communication was exceptional and very fairly priced; I have no doubt that other attorneys would have looked to stoke the fires to drive billings. I felt completely confident throughout the process that my representation was perfect for the situation.

I was extremely pleased with Erin as the lawyer representing me in the development of a prenuptial agreement. She helped me to think through the “what ifs” and advocated on my behalf to make sure I’m protected and that the agreement is fair and equitable for both parties. Erin is incredibly efficient and responsive; she was mindful of my time and my money doing her best to not prolong the process and kept the opposing counsel on schedule. Erin is a great lawyer! I really enjoyed working with her. She did a great job working with my son and I and helped finalize a solution to my custody case that my son was very happy with. Erin Wilson has been my lawyer for three years. It is sometimes very difficult to understand the law, as it was in my case. I always had emotional support from her, though sometimes it is a lot difficult and stressful. She always did everything she could to protect my child and me. she still does.
