Crooked “disciplinary commission.” Don’t waste your time, energy, and mental health over filing against an unethical lawyer because the ARDC will not find a crooked lawyer of any wrongdoing.Although the BAR, referral services, other lawyers will suggest you file a complaint with the ARDC they already know that they protect their own. It ends up being a long drawn out headache for someone who’s already been screwed over. Steer clear and look for other resolutions.

I agree with other people who said: "This organization is a waste of time! They do not evaluate evidence and they do not advocate for people who have been damaged by attorneys." I tried to contact their head administrators (Mr. Larkin and Mr. Grodon) to fill a complaint against their own counsels. They promised to get in touch with me but never did. This organization seems to be extremely corrupt or people just don't want to do anything.

Do you really expect the Illinois political machine to police itself? They take care of themselves. Don't waste your time thinking you'll get them to hold one of their own accountable.

I agree with all the other reviews. I am going to write to the clerk of the Supreme Court with my evidence and sent it to a reporter at the Chicago Sun times. I clearly have court documents proving corruption and attorney misconduct.
I was a self represented party. I reside in another state. However, there is a court order stating I agree to terms that were only favorable to the other party, when I was not present. Amongst other things outlined in my complaint, there is a court order stating the other party’s motion was dismissed. However, after being forced by the other party to rescheduled the hearing at my expense, the other party’s motion was added back to the order reflecting the trial date. This was filled out by the other party’s attorney and while I was absent. In accordance with the law, the order should have been sent to me.
However it was never sent to me. I was notified about the date of the hearing via email. Typically the order is attached but it wasn’t. On the day of the trial law firm sent another attorney to argue the motion on behalf of the their client. When I mentioned the motion was dismissed, the attorney provided the court with the new order stating it had not been. Clearly attorney misconduct, fraud upon the court, and violation of the profession rule of conduct for an attorney
