Steve took on a difficult case of my father. If I would’ve known of my father’s case since a very beginning, I would’ve never chose Steve Klein. Can’t say much but trying to wash your hands isn’t the way to go. Hope Steve can better his professionalism. Maybe just sticking to traffic ticket cases is the best for him... not ALL criminal cases.

James Fabbrini represented me back in 2011/2012 after a former employer was mad I resigned. This employer decided to not pay me my last month of pay. I filed a wage claim against this employer hoping he would just finally send me my check. Unbeknownst to me, this person then had a warrant out for my arrest claiming I stole $20k to get back at me for filing a wage claim as well as leaving. James was recommended to me from a friend from high school and I was so glad he did. Not only did James protect me from this frivolous claim, all charges were dropped as it became apparent it was retaliatory with no evidence to support my former employer's claims of theft. I couldn't have been happier that this was over. Mr. Fabbrini recommended to file a countersuit but I declined as I just wanted this to be over and move on. I should have listened, haha. Fast forward to May 2024, I recently completed all course work to obtain my real estate license for the state of Indiana. One of the questions asked of me was if I had ever been arrested. I was unsure if it was considered an arrest due to all charges being dropped or what the status was. So I contacted James again for his help and documentation to help explain to the Licensing Board. He quickly drafted a professional letter explaining the case from 12 years ago and simply told me best of luck on your new career and if there was anything else concerning this case not to hesitate to ask. I was not expecting him to compose a letter for free after all this time since I know he had to work on it for an hour or so but he insisted on no charge and glad he could help recap this so I could get my license. I was in a car accident where I was t-boned. After waiting months and months. This lawyer tells me $2,000 after losing my job, $9,000 to fix my vehicle $7,000 for medical bills, and $200 for my pain and suffering after getting fired after the accident which that should be another lawsuit for wrongful termination. This accident triggered a lot of my mental conditions that I had thought I worked out and healed from. However brought back the trauma made things worse. Even had a medical professional. Put it on paperwork saying hey and acting like this can exaggerate or increase past symptoms or current symptoms that are there. Nobody's listening. Nobody cares. It's like this law group makes you wait and wait and when bills are getting tremendously outrageous, you're about to get your car rebuled that they fixed after destroying and they didn't declare it a complete wreck. Like what kind of lawyers is this. You see people with checks of $40,000 $60,000 $120,000 for getting t-boned and you're going to tell me $2,000. Who are you working deals for? Cuz it wasn't me. Horrible. How can you just let people go through hardship like this. Then come with a lowball offer of $2,000 but you make sure everybody else gets paid including yourself. Selfish greedy scandalous.

If I can score a -5star I would because Drew Ball and his partner took 4,000 from me and did not do squat. I gave them videos, text, emails, utilities bills and he told me he can get back over 40,000 due to my formal landlord not giving me deposit. Plus stealing my electric and gas. I never saw a penny in over 2 years. It was like pulling teeth to get some type of communication about what is happening. He was really nice and accommodating before I gave him the money. After I gave him an additional 2500 for court fees which he never went to at all. The first amount was 1500 and then he ask for 2500 totalling 4000. No communication and no portal that worked so I can see what was going on with my case. I was no longer a client, I was a victim of Drew Ball stealing my money. I would suggest to think twice before you give them any money. This should have been open and shut case. The evidence of fraud was overflowing. He had to do no leg work just take them to court. Never went to court because he was not able to give the notice to them. They live in portage Park in a two flat they own. Come on, I made a complaint with the BBB but unfortunately it was too old. They said I had a case to go to the district attorney office. I went there twice and now Drew Ball is saying he is retiring so my case was close again. Please look for good people to help you because Drew Ball is a thief and his company. Preying on people who have nothing because they know I don't have the funds to go after my money. Sadly, my case is close and I lost my deposit and my 4000 totalling 5250.00. I hope this guy loses his license before he is be able to win because obviously he couldn't even get my case to court with all the evidence I gave him. Unbelievable!!! All I wanted was my money back and all I received was a lesson learned. Never trust Drew Ball and his partner with your money. Especially this guy Drew Ball.
